Dr. Weber and his equipment are so old and behind the times that you don’t get a thorough or accurate evaluation of what’s wrong with your teeth or mouth. He seemed to fix things as problems arose such as a filling, crown falling out, etc. But no one ever explained the problems they saw and what I needed to do before it was way too late. Then I needed extractions, was told I have periodontal disease, needed a mouth guard, etc. Huh? Why didn’t y’all tell me this earlier and maybe prevent some major problems I have now? Find a more current dentist who knows what’s going on in this century.

So When it comes to Dentists i am the biggest chicken in the world. Until I met Dr. Weber. He is the most kindest and the most understanding Dentist I have ever met. Dr. Weber and his staff on nice and kind. They make sure you are 100% comfortable before any procedure is started. He will walk you through the procedure and tell you what is is doing as he is doing it. I love this guys. I have been with him for over 8 years he accepts most all insurances. If you are Super Hero about everything except the Dentist. Don’t worry because when it comes to Super Hero Dentists he is My Guy.

Honest, kind dentist with a calm demeanor. Seems to take a conservative approach to avoid unnecessary intervention but is skillful when treatment is required. I completely trust him.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Weber for about five years now, and I couldn’t be happier. Here are some of my reasons… Excellent chair-side manner: He’s very good at explaining what he’s doing as he does it, and is happy to answer any questions you might have. Plus, he’s almost always good for a «dad joke» or two. One of the things that I’ve seen him do is, if he sees that you’re trying to get a look at the sharp metal thing headed towards your mouth, he’ll stop and show it to you and explain what it’s for — I like that he’s observant enough of his patients to even notice that. Good with kids: As far as I can tell, this is a good place to take your kids to get their teeth worked on. There are a bunch of pictures, cards, etc. scattered about the office from his young patients — either thanking him for the work or just drawings done for the office. The kids that I’ve seen coming in and out of the office were all in good spirits — i.e., not screaming in abject fear of the dentist — and everyone in the office, including Dr. Weber, made them feel welcome and comfortable. My daughter has been one of those kids and she liked him and the rest of the staff very much. Good location: For me, it’s in a nice location. It’s in the Plaza Cortez, on the West side of Hwy. 183 a bit south of Anderson Mill Rd., just past Balcones Club Dr. and the Taco Cabana. I’ve gone in many times at the end of the day and been heading out at 5:00 or 5:30 and it’s not too terribly difficult to get out of the parking lot — though traffic can be a bit of a pain on the access road at times. Finding a parking space can be problematic at times too, but I’ve always gotten their early enough to find one in time. Honest and knows his limits: He’s never tried to push any procedure on me that I didn’t actually need. No, I’m not a dentist; however, I have the internet and know how to use it for research — he’s never steered me wrong yet. I appreciate that, as I’ve been to other dentists who weren’t always that way. If he runs into something that he doesn’t feel comfortable doing, i.e., he thinks it’s beyond his abilities, he won’t hesitate to refer you to a specialist. He’s had to do that once to me during a root canal — the nerve canals were twisted in such a way that he couldn’t get to them properly, so he sent me to an endodontist in the area who had the proper specialized tools to finish the job. I appreciate that he knows his limits and wants me to get the best treatment that I can, as you can’t do a hack job on a root canal without risking infections, etc. However, be very careful which endodontist that you pick, as the one that I chose ripped me a new one, price-wise. That’s hardly Dr. Weber’s fault, though. As I said, it’s good that he doesn’t do hack jobs and attempt things that he knows he’s not able to do properly. General: Dr. Weber has a nice practice, with polite, happy and hard-working staff. I always feel comfortable, appreciated and well cared-for whenever I go in. I have horrible teeth — curse you genetics and highly-acidic food and drink! — and Dr. Weber has been working with me over the last few years on getting them all taken care of. We’re all individuals, so what’s good for me might not be what floats your boat. However, I would highly recommend that anyone without a dentist give this man a try.
