Wet Tech’s

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have spent a week dealing with this contractor and they did NOTHING! Horrible customer service! Jenn never answers the phone or return calls. She will text you information, but it is usually a lie. I can’t comment on the workmanship because I never saw a repairman (even though apparently one came to my house while I was home and didn’t bother to talk to anyone) nor was anything ever repaired. BEWARE — DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME.

It’s honestly hard to believe Wet Tech’s is still in business! As mentioned before, they are full of empty promises! Horrible customer service! Jenn does not return calls or communicate any information, ever. They would claim to have ordered parts and «lose» them or it was going to take «6 months» for a part to come in (even 3 months into the 6 months)! Frustrating and ridiculous! We also had their weekly pool service and they would frequently spend less than 5 minutes working on the pool. No brushing, no checking or emptying of the skimmers, no water quality check, or equipment check. The guy would come through the gate armed with only a net and spent 3 – 5 minutes skimming the top of the water. When we called Jenn to let her know, she never responded. They could care less! We live on a fairly busy street, and our dog got loose multiple times because they failed to close the gate. Again, no response when we left messages pleading for their technician to ensure he closed the gate. Again, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This is probably the worst customer service experience I have had in my lifetime, for any matter. Wet Tech’s was referred to me by my pool builder to fix broken lights on my pool. My first contact to them was in June 2014, and I continued to try to get them to come out and address the issue all the way up to May 2015. It may seem that I am crazy for being so persistent but the matter is that Wet Tech’s repeatedly promised me they were on my case /​ordering the parts /​would be out in X number of days. The problem is they never followed up on these promises. By October, it seemed they were ready to move forward, but by then the seasons had changed and, apparently, no one in Austin will get inside a pool to change lights in winter months. So, I waited until April and then recontracted them. More of the same — several emails and texts promising repair by a certain day, but then no follow-​up. After 11 months, I gave up, contacted the pool product manufacturer, and moved on. Absurdness.
