Youngblood Auto and Tire

Let’s see, what can I say about this place… Well 1^st of all, I like them bc they were able to get me in right away which was nice, however I waited about an hour or more to get one tire patched not to mention it was $ 25. I thought that was pretty high. But most importantly I enjoyed talking to the two men behind the counter they were very friendly & fun to talk to & it made the time past by quick. So yes I will be back for future services.

I pity, the owner of this store. He has a bunch of rude, nasty employees who Dont care if their boss makes money or not. Customer service is zero at this store. I was asking a question and the lady at the front desk replied me so rudely, I was shocked to my bone. Reported to the manager he kept saying they are shorthanded that’s the reason she is rude as in unbelievable. I took my $ 2000 worth of business away immediately.

I arrived asked that my oil be changed and could my tires be inspected. In a couple minutes the salesman told me I needed all four rear tires. I said on a large purchase I had to call the office. Salesman said he could call them. I said I could take care of it. After contacting the office I waited for the purchasing dept. to contact me. Salesman screams my name not walking back to the waiting area vary unprofessional. I walk to him at the counter and said I am waiting on a call. He grabs his phone and said to me. Give my your bosses phone number he wont ignore me. I found this offensive a hard sell tactic. I said I was pretty sure my office had it under control. I told him to finish the oil change and that was all. He basically told me I did not understand how bad my tires where and came at me again for the office number. I said finish the oil and that’s all. I get out drive directly to another tire shop. The person there unaware of the fact I had been at Youngblood Auto and tire 10 minutes earlier. This salesman said my rear tires are fine however I may want to get them balanced I had thrown a wheel weight. I walked to the rear of my truck and you could clearly see where the weights not like 1 weight had been. I am a driver w/​18 years over the road exp. I inspect that truck every time I prepare to leave my shop. Youngblood Auto and tire had removed the wheel weights in preparation to sale my $ 1,600 dollars worth of tires I did not need and when they could not shove the tire deal down my throat they never rebalances the tires. I was shocked when I realized this and told the salesman at the second shop To go ahead and balance the tires and told him that I had just been in another shop and the experience I had. I was taken care of in less than a hour and they did not charge me to fix what the guys at Youngblood had unfixed. In closing Goodbye Youngblood auto and tire. To the consumer that ends up there BUYER BE WARE.

I was in desperate need of 10 truck tires late one night due to theft. I reached the after-​hours emergency line who got me in touch with the people who could make things happen in a matter of minutes. They were very responsive and sensitive to my emergency. They showed up and got me going! With major contracts in jeopardy, they never missed a beat. Everyone I’ve dealt with at Youngblood is Courteous, Knowledgeable, and Professional! That is why Youngblood is my first call when I need to buy tires or need service and I need a lot of both. Thank All of You at Youngblood for all that you do to set yourselves apart from the «other guys».

Needed a super hard to find tire. They had it, and stayed open late just to accommodate me. They are super friendly and helpful.

Turned away my business because they were «too busy». Well then, HIRE SOME MORE PEOPLE! I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Kelly told me that the car I was going to buy was in an exceptionally good condition.
I trusted him and bought the car.
It turned out that it had rusted battery terminal and bad wheel bearing, which will cost $ 400~$ 500 to fix.

I went here and purchased 2 expensive ass rear tires for my sportscar. They are expensive because of my vehicle so I’m not blaming the price on them. I asked if they offered the additional road hazard warranty in case I was to get a nail in my tire or something. He recommended me not to purchase it. I said «what if I get a nail in my tire?» He said «that’s on you.» wtf? Seems odd because typically the salesman would get a commission off of selling that additional warranty. Basically I experianced a flat on my front tire and Lamb’s replaced it for free. I should have gone back to Lambs but my friend said YoungBlood would hook me up:-(

After trying several other places in Round Rock and Austin for an oil change and getting increasingly frustrated at the bad customer service and long wait times, I am glad I found Youngblood.
I’ve been a few times now and both times they have been very professional, friendly, and helpful. Prices are very reasonable and the wait time has never been too long.
This is also the only place I have been where I didn’t feel like the mechanics were trying to sell me things I didn’t need, taking advantage of the fact that I’m a female that knows little to nothing about cars.
I highly recommend!

I’ve now purchased tires and had my oil changed at Youngblood. Each time the service was friendly, the prices were fair, and I wasn’t upsold anything I didn’t ask for. Not much more I can ask for… other mechanics and tire shops set the bar pretty low.

I was driving from Austin to Fort Worth recently and my starter just gave out at a gas station in Round Rock Texas. I was completely stuck. The person who came to try to jumpstart my car suggested that I call Youngbloods for repairs. I could not have been more pleased with the service. They were friendly helpful and quick, which allowed me to get back on the road. I frankly can’t say enough in praise for the work that they did, their attitude in service, and the responsiveness to my concerns. My only regret is that since I live in Houston I cannot make them regular auto shop..

It’s New Years Eve. I go to leave my house about 11:30 AM to grab some groceries, and lo and behold I have a flat tire. I search around and call Youngblood’s to ask if they’ll patch a tire. They say they will look at it, but they close at noon. I take the tire off and head over, and I get there at 11:55, fully expecting to be told to come back after the new year.
Not only did they look at it, but they stayed 30 minutes late on a holiday to fix it, and for a very reasonable price including balancing.
Service. Something you don’t find often.
This is going to be my new go-​to mechanic in this area. Well done, y’all.

I started taking my car to Youngblood when I moved to Austin from Louisiana. They have ALWAYS been helpful, thorough, and courteous. Ed is the best! He answers my questions, even the stupid ones… I take my car to Youngblood for everything and trust they will take care of it every time. They let me have a «rental» at no cost and fully inform me about what is wrong with my car, what needs to be fixed, why, by when, and how much it will cost. Youngblood is a winner in my book.
