We booked a canoe trip and 2 nights camping for a Boy Scout troop last weekend. The owners are extremely friendly and the campground was perfect. New clean bathrooms with hot shower. Floating the Beaver Creek I found it technically challenging with many tight turns. There were two 225 lb guys in my canoe and we scraped only a few times. Canoes were in great shape, some brand new.
I recommend Beaver Creek to anyone who wants a quiet trip on the river away from the party crowd.
The 3 cabins are new as well and overlook the water. Check them out.

Great folks! Took a very scenic float down Beaver Creek with BCC rentals. The husband/​wife team were very nice and accommodated our 20+ group. Clean restrooms and nice campground area. Certainly worth a weekend trip for a reasonable price.

Springfield, MO
New owners as of this past January. We were never there prior to this trip so I can’t compare but the new owners are in the process of updating the facilities. They have a new bathhouse which is exceptionally nice. I can’t rate the canoe/​kayak rentals as the creek was dangerously swollen after heavy rains so we couldn’t go but we would definitely return to try again at a later time. Very accommodating folks and really nice to deal with. Definitely recommend them. And say hi to Maggie, she likes the attention.
