Little Egypt Beer

I had to add this place to Unilocal, because this place is my love.
This right here, is what brewing beer is all about!
If you read back to my Bluffs Winery review, at the end I noted that the true gem is located right
next door—
Well, this is it!
On a rainy Saturday afternoon, while sitting on the patio next door, we looked over
and saw this large garage looking place right next door–
Said garage looking place had no windows, but only a sign outside that read «Little Egypt Beer»
strawberry beer inside! Hmmm… we thought.
Not sure what was lurking inside this building, we stepped on in.
It was the best decision we’ve ever made…
We got to know the owners Ken & Jen, and their story was awesome– I love listening
to peoples story about how they started brewing— and these two were so cool…
There is definitely a love of beer that this facililty exudes.
I started off with the Hefeweizen and it was by far one of the best I’ve had.
I thought the flavor of banana shines through perfectly but still had a strong wheat presence.
The most interesting part for a brewery like this, was the added addition of a «strawberry juice shot”– weird I know, but at the same time such a welcome addition.
They get this strawberry juice from a local farmer in town, and for $ 1 you can add the shot to your beer— I actually really enjoyed it.
The pale ale was also extremely solid– these people really know their beer, and it shows.
All the beer I tasted was crafted exceptionally well.
If you are ever lucky enough to be in the area– stop in! You will not leave disappointed.
I even bought a shirt from there– and we got a free sticker.
Do it– stop in. If you are hop-​head like me, or just enjoy beer, you will enjoy it.
