My problem isn’t with the course itself(as I think it is quite lovely), but with the staff. I golfed there on Saturday with three friends, and we rented 2 golf carts at $ 22 each. I paid with my debit card for one and my buddy paid cash for the other. On Monday, I was checking my bank statement and noticed a $ 2200 charge from the golf course. I called my bank to cancel it and they said I had to call the course so I did. On Monday, I was told that it had to be some mistake and to that only the manager could fix it and he would be in on Tuesday. I then called Tuesday and told the person on the phone my dilemma and that I needed to speak to the manager. He said the manager wasn’t going to be in today and that he couldn’t talk either cause he was too busy and I needed to call back. Then I called back he said the $ 2200 charge was a deposit, and it would go back in a couple days. I thought this was a bit much, but ok whatever. I called my friend to see if he had the same issue. That’s when he told me he paid cash and they never asked for a deposit. Then I called back. The same guy said he spoke to his accountant and that it would be taken care of and the transaction had been reversed. And if I wanted to talk to someone else I’d have to call in the evening. I called later that evening and a new employee said that what had happened was that I was originally charged the wrong amount but that it had been reversed and any issues needed to be taken up with my bank and the manager who would be in on Wednesday. I went into my bank on Wednesday, and they said the $ 2200 had not been reversed by the golf course and if it had, it would show in their system. I then tried to call the manager, and he’s not working on Wednesday either. I have called easily a dozen times since Monday with no action taken, and no word from the manager. Apparently they don’t think giving me back my $ 2200 is a priority

Can’t think of any other word to use to describe this course but«interesting». No ponds, but water hazards everywhere. On 7 of the 9 holes, sprinklers were on in full force up and down the fairways. We had to skip the 4th hole altogether because the entire fairway was enveloped by 9 revolving sprinklers. So we asked the landscapers if this was usually the case and they said yes. So if you are looking for a serious game and want to keep a meaningful score, this is not your course. But if it’s really hot outside, dress accordingly and plan to play drenched. Might be very refreshing. But be careful. My sister slipped trying to avoid being sprayed by a sprinkler and hurt her arm.

If they had negative stars that’s what they would of received today! I played here all week and had a great time until today. I booked tee times for my nephew and myself the day before and we had a great experience, so I decided to do it again today. We walked up to the course excited to play and when we went to check in that is when it all unfolded. I gave him my name and then said I need to rent some clubs for my nephew. I had a coupon to get half off of the rentals, but the guy their told me that I couldn’t use it because I booked through golf now. I said ok, then we will still need the clubs. He went and pulled out a set of clubs then said it will cost $ 27 dollars. I said yesterday when we rented it was only $ 11. He then proceeded to say I don’t know why you were charged that and said that is a junior’s price and it is $ 27. My nephew is a junior! That is the price. Well after playing 5 fun days of golf it took one time to destroy the whole experience. I’m sad I bought a hat now because the last thing I want to do is wear it now.

I didn’t know they had a separate check in. I checked in under the country club. Because reality is, this golf course is considered a country club. Horrible, horrible, horrible… Don’t come! Don’t waste your time to golf here! my list of why its horrible may take days! So I took my boyfriend to Catalina for his birthday. He’s a huge golf fan and avid player. We saw flyers for this place and the pictures look fairly nice. Even the Catalina magazine stated that tournaments used to be held here and PGA players like tiger woods have played on this course. On top of that there’s a golf package. Golf rental clubs, balls, play 9 hole, and a push cart for $ 61. Sounds like a pretty amazing deal. Boy, was it pretty sad. You get to pick five old balls out of this basket. The irons and driver grips are all messed up(I’m talking about grips with split cords!) You’ll get blisters from the darn thing. No push cart. Terrible greens. Bunkers sand is not even the real thing. Rental clubs are the old school ones. They have Taylor mades burners in the back but those are like first generations. The ones outside in the pro shop is even worst! Overall, the condition of this course is one of the worst I’ve been on. We only saw like two other people on the course. Perhaps, there isn’t enough people who play on the course to give it proper revenue for the up keeping. No spectator fee. In the pro shop, you can purchase beer, soda, water, candy bars, and some golf clothing. Nothing too fancy. Two Vending machines on the course, I can’t remember what hole it was but one was sold out. I was thirsty and did not have change. The machines didn’t take credit card. So I was dehydrated! The best part of this course: I saw two deers and one rabbit. Apparently, there were signs warning folks of snakes. you can walk the nine hole In 1.5 hours without any wait. You can rent a cart but there truly wasn’t a need. It was An easy walk. Be prepared for a non challenge and a not so great golf outing. I would not reccomend this course. Unless you’re a super newbie.

It’s a fun 9 hole course… I paid $ 88 for a 9 hole course(but to play 18) and a 6 pack. It’s a bit high for what it is and that’s why I gave it a 3 star.

I’ve played here a number of times over the years. Fun little executive course. Tight fairways and kept in good shape. Kikuyu greens are a bit«different» but roll true.
