Experience note, this is for July 2015 Event: Rehearsal Dinner, Bride After calling and speaking with various other event locations on the island, we choose to host our rehearsal dinner at the M Restaurant for various reasons. The staff at the M were the epitome of what hospitable, flexible, understanding and professional vendors should be. They were incredibly gracious while working with us to create a stellar event within our budget. The space is beautiful in its own right without décor, on the main street, easy to walk to and located for our guests, and was the perfect fit for our headcount ~ 72 ppl. The access we had to the chef and the event manager eliminated a middle person to play phone or email tag with regarding event decisions. We arrived on the island the Wednesday before the Friday dinner and were able to store décor and other items beforehand with the staff. The day of the dinner I did not have to worry about a thing. The dinner service was prompt, coordinated and efficient. As the Bride, there were hundreds of things going through my mind none of which usually included feeding myself or keeping hydrated. The staff took incredible care that the Groom and I had a plate full of food, water and wine, and even tylenol and iced coffee when I requested them. The hors d’œuvre spread we had booked was set up beautifully and with the suggestion of the staff we had the perfect amount of food for our guests. Everyone had a fantastic time with plenty of food, wine, cocktails, areas to sit and be cozy, or stand up and dance their pants off. The staff was keenly aware of who are our guests were and were like hawks when we spotted a couple of party crashers and removed them promptly. We would highly recommend the M Restaurant for any event coordination. Overall: 5 stars Pre-planning and negotiating: 5 stars Contract and payment: 5 stars Day of execution: 5 stars

It is not easy giving a restaurant 5 stars, but anything less for this restaurant would have been a disservice. My girlfriend, Monica, is dairy intolerant and gluten free, so it can be challenging to find a restaurant that can accommodate. I can’t remember a restaurant where my girlfriend looked like a baby in a candy store. The calamari was amazing with an arose sauce and citrus caper aioli. Our server Heather was absolutely incredible. We started off with 2 rounds of Grapefruit Ginger Sparklers that set the stage for our Valentine’s Dinner. The Quail Bites were delicious wrapped in applewood-smoked bacon with a pomegranate glaze. Monica’s entrée was the Stuffed Jumbo Prawns that left her speechless and in heaven. I had the Wild Boar Chops that were out of this world. When deciding which red wine to complement entrée, Heather offered to bring tasters of red wine that she thought would complement the dishes. Amazing! We love our waitress! We finished off with some Passion Fruit Dessert that capped off a wonderful evening. Considering this was a surprise Valentine’s getaway for Monica, I couldn’t have asked for a better restaurant to celebrate our love which appreciated and valued foodies with intolerances!
