Nice place. Our servers were very nice. Im sure the others that ate here were not inaccurate, my parents were not impressed by this place. I thoroughly enjoyed my omelette and I hope they keep up the good work. Maybe I came on a day when better cooks were working or something

I do not recommend coming here! The place seems very unorganized and mismanaged. The staff doesn’t even seem happy. We came here for breakfast, and it was not busy at all. We waited almost an hour for our food to come out and we noticed other people getting their food before us(even though it also took a while for those people, too). Another table and our table started laughing about the long wait together and the waitress who overheard us said to us «calm down everybody.» Very rude! She never once apologized for the food taking a long time and it was cold when it finally came. I think I would have been more forgiving of the staff apologized for the wait or if any of the staff was somewhat friendly. And The food was just okay, overpriced for the portions, but that’s always expected at the beach. So I will not come back here.

Party of 7 went on a Wed evening. Open Table took reservations. Skeptical about evening due to poor reviews, but we had a great time! The chef did an amazing job. We enjoyed the fried calamari and fried green tomatoes(although they were red) as our starter. Wedge salad and seafood bisque were good. The table mostly ordered steak(filet and NY strip). The risotto and veggie sides were delicious! The also had a good wine bottle deal, which was good for a large party. Desserts had a lot of nuts(annoying if you have a nut allergy like myself), but they were very accommodating and found an alternative! One of the best things was the presentation! Chilled butter dishes, floral accents and creative presentations with the dinner and dessert. The chef worked hard!

We ate in the bar area of the restaurant and ate off the bar menu. We shared fried pickles(surprisingly very good), crab cake and boneless wings. All good. We each had a Cobb salad that was top notch. On Fridays bottles of wine are half price. Service was efficient and friendly. Bob Pantano Dance Party started around 8:30 which was a nice surprise at the end of our meal. We’ll definitely be back to try the dining room menu.

Nice staff. Modest food. No reason to return. They keep changing management but always the same result. My salmon was actually excellent but that was it.

Sadder than sad. Disorganized. If the hotel didn’t include meal credits with your hotel room, no one would eat there. Lobster roll was the worst ever. New management every year. Hamburgers were horrible besides being cold. Breakfast with our group of six… wow four were served 15 minutes after the first two. Good manners to wait for everyone to be served? Right! Long gone are the days of the Golden Inn as a quality destination. How about a half star for this joint.

I can’t even give this place one star, but I have to to make the review. My family and I stayed at the Golden Inn(where I’d give at least 3 – 4 stars), and decided to try out the Seaglass. We waited for an hour and a half for our appetizers on a WEDNESDAYNIGHT. The place was practically empty. Quick points: –waited for the waitress to take our drink order and tell us the specials for 20 minutes. –dried food on my fork –clams casino was gross. And it didn’t even come out at the same time as the other appetizers. –mango BBQ scallops were disgusting and there were only 3 scallops… For $ 22 –lobster special(when it finally came out) was cold –ordered a second glass of wine that never came –when we made some noise about waiting, they said the manager would come over and speak to us… He/she never came. Portions are way too small for the price. I work at a restaurant and if what had happened tonight happened at my place, people would be in trouble. Don’t waste your time here. I’m an open minded person and I feel I’m fairly patient. This place just ain’t worth it. (apparently breakfast buffet isn’t bad, but as my first experience, this kind of ruined it)

Bring a fly swatter. The food was marginally acceptable. But at least you work up an apatite shooing the flies away. 7:00 and we had the place to ourselves should have been a clue. Also, they used to serve craft beers on tap… now all you can have on tap is Bud Lite.

Inside of the classic Golden Inn, this restaurant presents itself as an upscale dining experience, overlooking the pool deck. With most guests in casual attire, and expecting a crowd on «prime rib» night, we arrived at 6:30. Our server was prompt in greeting us, friendly, and got out drinks quickly. I ordered the scallops, and was told they were out of scallops(is that possible at the Jersey Shore?) so I ordered the pork. My companion ordered his filet medium. Neither entrée came with a salad. Our server felt bad there were no scallops, and came back a few minutes later stating they found some. Hm, not confident in «found scallops»(and picturing an episode of Kitchen Nightmares) I stuck with the pork. When our food arrived, the filet was well done, and small. My pork was tasty, fortunately. I give them three stars because their service was excellent, and the place was clean. The kitchen better take a hard look at their offerings if they want to attract more customers. Otherwise, I advise the servers to look elsewhere for employment.
