Nupelle

I had a very good experience at Nupelle, so I’m shocked to see two first bad reviews. The spa itself is very clean and nicely decorated. Ladies that helped me were nice and very unpretentious (spas and hair salons have a tendency of having rude stuck up receptionists, hehe)! I came in for eyebrow wax/​shaping and eyelash tint.
I warned the person who was working on me that I have super-​duper sensitive skin and get redness and breakouts after wax and she actually listened (applied countless Neosporin and ice to the waxed area afterwards while working on eyelashes)! Usually they just tell me «don’t worry, we have fancy wax that won’t cause irritation» — wrong!
Someone also commented that prices are high. Can’t speak for services i didn’t have, but I thought what I paid was comparable to what I’m used to paying in CA and FL, so no complains!
Another good thing: this place allows you to request appointments online! I have a tendency to remember I need to schedule services at odd hours of Sunday night, so this option works for me!
Overall, I’d come back!

Rude, unprofessional owner. Overpriced. So many other good spas in Aventura… don’t go to Nupelle!

Worst place I have ever been to. The lady who owns the place was so mean to me. Then she acted like I was the rude person. DON’T go to this Spa.

I can’t believe I am the first person to write a review of Nupelle!!! My parents moved to Aventura about four years ago and I was in desperate need of finding a place for a great wax for the times that I would be home from school. I have sensitive skin so finding a good wax place is very important for me. I’m not sure how I heard about Nupelle, but I have been a loyal customer since my first appointment four years ago.
The salon is extremely tranquil, clean and beautiful. The owner, Leyla, is always there and she is absolutely the greatest. I always get my wax from her. She has a number of different waxes to choose from such as the hard wax, hard wax for sensitive skin, and normal honey wax. After being so pleased with my wax experience I tried a massage from Nupelle, which Leyla performed as well. She is SO TALENTED. I also turned my parents on to this place for massages :)
Never a bad experience here and can’t say enough great things about it. LOVE.
