Our dentist told us to consult with an orthodontist for our 11 year old.
* Ortho #1 looked at my daughter for 30 seconds and then told us she required about 8 years of specialty work that would cost us $ 10,000 and shoved us into a room to sign a loan on the spot
* Ortho #2 made her cry by pushing and shoving on her mouth but didn’t speak a word while he was doing it, quoted $ 8,500 then left the room.
Then we found Dr. Ward. He was kind, gentle and soothed my daughter’s fears. He invited me to ask any questions. After looking at her, he said that it would be a waste of money and cause her unnecessary work until her permanent teeth came in and showed why. He took time to answer all our questions and then said there was no charge since he didn’t do anything.
He’s continued to be as good as that first visit. His rates for ortho work are MUCH more affordable. His staff is great. I recommend him to everyone.
