I bought two guns from this store. The Ruger was perfect but the Sig 380 had a fault. It wouldn’t fire without jamming after 1 shot. I took it back after the first bad attempt and they oiled it and handed it back. The problem continued during my second attempted use. I took it back again and one clerk showed me how well it racked and that it looked great. I asked Cary to take it and fire it. He did and he told me there was definitely a problem. He kept the gun for a week and he fixed it. The problem with the transaction is that he used a box of my ammo to fix it and wouldn’t replace it. He then told me I was fortunate because he worked on it 8 hours and used another box of ammo and he didn’t charge me. I was a little hot that I was so lucky that he didn’t charge me after he sold me a faulty gun. I will not buy from these guys again and I ask everyone to be cautious for they care more about a $ 15 box of ammo than they do satisfying a customer that spent $ 1000 with them. I will do my shopping at Shoot Straight next time.

Unless you live under a rock you probably know that that FL and TX are very gun friendly states. Florida has issued more concealed carry permits than any other state and it is estimated that over 8% of the population holds a concealed carry permit. Gun Smoke is one of the stores that supports all these folks. * It is extremely well organized and carries all the major brands. * The staff is very knowledgeable and can answer all your firearms questions especially if you are a newbie. * They can set you up with approved training classes which are critical and required to hold a concealed carry permit in FL. * About the only thing missing is a gun range. You’ll need to go elsewhere to practice. If you are blowing through tiny Avon Park on Route 27, it’s about 30 seconds down Main Street and well worth the stop.
