Oishii Burger

Great burger. Google maps will mislead you to the wrong location. Here are the gps coordinates.
This will show you the correct location on Google Maps. The store is in an old gas station and the awning that once shielded cars hides their sign from motorists on US 27. You must approach from the south since there is no crossover at that point in the median.

1. Food is good.
2. False advertising. Sign and online hours are both incorrect. They close at 8 or 830, depending on how long the staff wants to stay.
3. Not so clean.
4. Terrible customer service. I’ve been there multiple times… all times have not been enjoyable. The workers are condescending and curt.
5. They never answer their phone and, when they do, they’re rude. Just called and asked some questions about an order I was hoping to place and the boy who answered said, «I don’t have time for this. There are people here.»
To sum up, while they do have tasty food it is not worth the trip. Who knows? They might not even be open when you get there. And don’t try calling to check if they’re open because they don’t have time for that.

I love this place, I was very sad when they shut down the Sebring locations. I try and make it to Avon Park as much as I can (just for them) :)

The burgers are great and so is the hibachi. I love the Oishi Burger and the white sauce is yummy My husband and I used to live in the area and it was one of our favorite restaurants.

Great Japanese food as well as burgers. Quick, delicious and fresh. I ordered the chicken hibachi, it was well seasoned and the white sauce was light and flavorful. The stir fried vegetables were very fresh. The sweet tea was a little to sweet, but that was the only negative thing I could say. It is a little tricky to find, but it is in an old convenience store and has station.

These guys know good burgers, and I’m hoping the day will come soon when they decide to expand from the area towards Orlando!
My girlfriend and I made it a point to drive through the Sebring/​Avon Park area from Orlando to Miami to have these burgers. Why? The white sauce. I’ve heard so much about it and just had to try it!
I ordered the double Oishii Burger which included 2 beef patties, grilled onions, diced bell peppers, mushrooms, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon and topped with their homemade Teriyaki sauce and Oishii white sauce. In addition I also ordered for some onion rings as well to make it a combo.
Shortly said, great burgers. On the oily side but really tasty too. Soft patties, hot, simple. The white sauce was special; it had that little sweet garlic taste to it. Very addicting that I had to ask for more to dip my onion rings. The onion rings themselves were ok, nothing special. That sauce though, just incredible.
What I really enjoyed about the burger was the concept. It’s Asian fusion, so it’s pretty different! Teriyaki sauce on a burger? Sriracha bottle on the side next to the ketchup and mustard? Yeah these guys are trying something new from your typical burger joint, and I like that.
Besides burgers, they also offer chicken wings (at this location), Japanese grill items, and hot dogs. The place itself needs some renovations, but if you can move past that to come for the food, you will enjoy it. I plan to come to this place everytime I have the chance to stop by the area.

Delicious! Great sandwiches and incredible fries. Seriously get some fries with the pink sauce.
