Wendy’s

This section of Rout 27 in Avon Park is Fast Food Central. There are six chains all within sight of each other so you can get your cholesterol and calories in many ways. As you drive through and look at the parking lots you’ll notice that most of the other places seem to be busier. Hymmmmm!
I’m generally a fan of Wendy’s food, especially the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Their fries are also decent.
The look & feel of this place inside is fine. They had a remodel last year so the ATMOSPHERE is typical.
I’ve found the FOOD here to be completely consistent with every other location which is a good thing.
Where they are slipping is with management including CUSTOMER SERVICE. On a recent visit the entire restaurant was out of napkins. Are you kidding me! Frustrated customers were using toilet paper. To say that’s unacceptable is the understatement of the year. Employees that were questioned were less than sympathetic. I’m hoping this is a one-​off occurrence and is not a symptom of bigger problems.
As the atmosphere and food are fine, I’m giving them a break here and going with three stars but I’ll be watching and update if needed.

Just stopped in for a quick burger with my uncle. It was very clean & the remodel was awesome. Customer service was really good they were smiling & very nice. I will be returning.
