Avon Town of

Nice park, especially considering its location. If you’re into trail running or mountain biking, this park sits in a rather ravine-​prone area… you’ll get a workout looping up and down the trails. It also connects via a paved drive/​bike path to another park with soccer fields, a pond, and a pretty cool playground. There are a few shelters and some decent charcoal grills, real bathrooms, and of course playgrounds. Lots of families there on the day we went, but the kiddos were NOT in the woods. The trails are narrow, kinda rocky and full of roots… not someplace you can go «stroller hiking». Check it out some time when you don’t have the time to go to Brown County but still want to get a little muddy.
