I stayed in a friend’s timeshare for a few days recently at the Hyatt Mountain Lodge. So, my review is as a guest rather than an owner. First, the staff are terrific. They were friendly, helpful, and always remembered my name when I walked through the lobby. The property is designed in a mountain-rustic feel and is very well maintained. There is a gym on the first floor which is nicely equipped. I stayed in a studio(which is actually a «lock-off» from a larger unit, but it was spacious with a beautiful bathroom and a nice kitchenette. The hot tubs and pool were nice and convenient to my room. One important note, if you are there during ski season, skis, ski boots, poles, and snowboards are NOT allowed in the rooms and you can’t walk through the lobby or halls with ski boots on. But, right outside the front door is a convenient place in which to check your skis, snowboards, and even boots. The staff there was also friendly and helpful. The lodge is less than a 5 minute walk to the Centennial ski lift and is within a few minutes of restaurants, shops, and the Vilar Performing Arts Center. You can also step out the back of the hotel and get on the«skiway» that takes you around the the Elk Horn lift, though I did not try that route. So, with all this awesomeness, why 3 stars? Well, the entire Beaver Creek Village is built on a hillside. The buildings on all sides made me almost feel like I was in a hole. It is definitely a 4-star experience, but the placement of the building just made it feel a bit dark. I’ll definitely stay there again given the opportunity, though.

Truly a dynamite resort. We were here last year and find that Hyatt lives up to its high standards.

Our home away from home. The staff is great, the place is clean and comfortable. Right in the heart of the BC villiage as close as you can get to ski in, ski out without actually having it

Outstanding accommodations. Super friendly staff. Spending a week skiing and so far, it is great. Very comfortable two-bedroom, end unit, great views from both bedrooms and living room. Very easy access to ski runs, great ski valet.

This place was wonderful! Suite was beautiful, beds comfy with beautiful view of the mountains right out the window — great way to wake up. Central location in Beaver Creek to all shops and restaurants, no need to drive anywhere! Loved it, can’t wait to go back!

Hotel was great, in terms of amenities, locations, and customer service. However, there are a couple of things I didn’t find so pleasing. For one, this is more of a «residencies» than a hotel. I say that because in a hotel you get a daily room clean-up, however, here you get a mid-week clean up meaning if you run out of towels, than you run out of towels. Don’t worry, if you can’t wait to get towels than you can always pay the lovely $ 21 fee for more towels. I have stayed here multiple times and I suppose a new owner/manger has been hired because the Hyatt Mountain Lodge use-to have a continental breakfast, but it seems that breakfast has been discontinued. And lastly the customer service, anything you need seems to be a hassle to get. For example, the other day I requested an additional blanket and the front desk responded with«we will have to contact our cleaning services.» It seemed almost as if they weren’t sure they had enough! Anyways, besides those things the hotel is fantastic. The location is right next to all the skiing and snowboarding locations and shopping and dinning is literally only a couple feet away. Also every room has a beautiful view of the mountains!

I recently stayed here for an extended weekend with friends. If you’re looking for a great lodge in Beaver Creek, I would think it is hard to beat the Hyatt Mountain Lodge. We were able to get a multi-story condo and easily fit 4 couples into the condo with room to spare. The condos were comfortable and full of the typical amenities. Further, the condo complex offers the following adds: –robust continental breakfast –Day long coffee and tea –Heated pool and two hot tubs As far as location. .. superb. The HML is just below the town center(about 50 yards) and about 300 yards from the mountain. They are next door to a ski rental shop that will hold skis, boots, etc. overnight for free for guests. Finally, there is a comfortable and spacious underground garage(plenty of space for my oversized pickup)… Very happy with our stay here!
