Massage Envy – Avon

My husband and I both work full-​time, raise kids and run a household. Those are the things that tend to cause knots in our necks & backs. Going to Massage Envy every month (we are members) is the main thing that helps remove said stress knots. (Yoga helps, too!). We usually go on Sundays (members only day) and enjoy having our massages together, in the couples room. I don’t want to tell you who my favorite masseuse is, for fear that she will get insanely popular off my recommendation and then not be available to massage me. But: I will say that there are several masseuses that I’ve had who are really good! They ask about specifics that you want before the massage so that the experience is customized, and then they actually listen. I definitely recommend this establishment.
The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that they charge you $ 10 to transfer a credit from one spouse to the other. There are some months when one of us can’t go (Browns game, work conflict, etc) so we like to give our massage credit to the other person. But they charge $ 10. That seems ridiculous to me. Like having a fee just for the sake of having a fee. If they changed that policy, I’d revise my review to 5 stars, for sure!

Great people and enjoyable experience. I’d suggest calling far in advance to make an appointment as they tend to book up quickly.

This is a total rip off. The manager has swiped my health benefits card 21 times and depleted my FSA medical account. I am furious and will now have my attorney begin proceedings. DO NOT give them your personal information.

I have decided to purchase a membership because of the caring staff and their ability to take care of their customers. I have had 4 massages from 3 different people and Jessica had been my favorite. She has taken the time to work on the areas I ask her to and I really appreciate it. Their staff makes me comfortable every time.

I haven’t had many massages and this was a gift, so this will be a quick review. I did happen to catch a glimpse of the prices and to me they were very high. I don’t have anything to compare it to but $ 80 for a full body seems outrageous to me.
The woman I had was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted and used the exact pressure I was looking for. I hate small talk so the fact that she just let me listen to the music and close my eyes was awesome. I was so refreshed after.
I went with a big party and the other reviews were not nearly as good. Everyone had a different masseur and I was hearing too soft, too hard, talked too much, didn’t concentrate on the areas they asked for, etc etc.
If I was only reviewing Tamika, I would give her 5 stars. Since this is an establishment, I have to be fair. The other masseurs were mediocre and I myself wouldn’t pay that much for a massage, even from Tamika.
