Avoid at all costs on busy weekends. Over extended staff and take-out orders filled first results in long wait time. 1 hr. 45 mins. for our nothing to rave about pizzas and calzone. Didn’t help that the hostess /self-proclaimed manager created a scene when a customer mentioned«Just a moment’, you’re not the only one here» was not an appropriate response to a customer trying to find their waiter to get the check after spending 2 and one-half hours in a pizza joint. You decide, Rude, Unprofessional, It’s all about me, All of them?

After a long day of skiing we were looking for a bar atmosphere with good pizza close to the Westin hotel. This place fit the bill with a lively atmosphere and a local bar feel. Also the bar is huge with a big wrap around horseshoe. The supreme pizza was great and the service was good. Also got the chicken tenders appetizer with honey BBQ sauce which was good too. The place was packed but we were seated right away and had beers in hand within minutes. Thin crust pizza took about 45 minutes but I could see they had a lot of take out and delivery orders too so we were fine with that. We would definitely go back!

The pizza is ok… But stay away from the pasta! The sauce taste like the Ragu jar out of the shelf! Calamari very grease!

Best food. Period. The amazing service makes this the best place in Colorado. The hotties working behind the bar make the experience just that much better. The conquistador is worth the wait.

The bartender was very rude and ignored us even though it wasn’t busy. We asked for menus and after he asked us if we were ready to order and we said we were going to in a but he never came back except to take our menus away and never even asked if we wanted to order or if we wanted another drink so we left. Did order pizza to go another time and the pizza was pretty good.

Nothing short of amazing. Subtle but perfectly attentive service, out of this world food, and a smooth mellow atmosphere. If you’ve never been here, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Ask for Brett and Quentin!!! You won’t regret it!

This is the worst excuse for pizza! The crust is like an inch thick piece of cardboard. The sauce, cheese or pepperoni were not even warm! I have had better out of a box! Stay away!

I had a huge craving for anchovies and green pepper as the only toppings on my pizza. I’ve learned that it won’t go away until I feed the monster. Pazzos to the rescue. Walking in; the place seem like a neighborhood bar/pizza place. People seem to know each other. Fast service and with a smile! Wow! Their small pizza was like a large. Loaded with that darn anchovies and green bell pepper. Sooo good! The thin crust was good. Crunchy but still chewy and able to hold its toppings. You can’t fu** my order. It’s too darn easy! When I ordered it the server didn’t blink an eye. I’m still not over my anchovies attack.

We were passing west towawd the Vail area and were struck by hunger. The temptation to stop was high, but only ten more miles to Avon… a few more miles to Pazzo’s. We can make it! Yes, we’ve been here before a couple of times and the food has always good and service friendly. WEWILLBEBACK. So what food do I rate? We each get something different each time and have liked every choice.

We stopped in around 9:00 on a Saturday night. We waited for maybe 10 min before someone came to seat us. Which at that point we were seated immediately back in a corner of the restaurant. It was extremely warm inside so we asked if there were any tables outside and they immediately accommodated us. We started with cheese fries and the antipasto salad. Both were very good! The antipasto salad was enough for 2 – 3 people. We then ordered the Azteca and fagioli pizzas. The Azteca was excellent! The flavors of the jalapeño and cilantro, fresh tomatoes… delicious! We weren’t as crazy about the fagioli. I think the ricotta cheese gave it a weird texture. The service was excellent, timely, especially taking into consideration the busyness of the restaurant. All in all a pretty good place to eat.

Great food! Perfect location… Just walking distance from many of the major resorts in Avon. Service was good, food was great. The pizza was very flavorful, and tasted authentic. The kids menu was only ok, and they were a bit stingy with the meat on the meat sauce. However, the pizza was so good, we felt like the 4 stars were still worth valid!

Real disappointment! Most of the staff could care less(unless you’re a local) 1−½ hrs after we ordered pizza we walked out, especially after observing 2 tables that came after us get theirs. The waiter although he was nice was clueless and asked us after 45 minutes if we ordered pizza? I knew we were in trouble when I observed employees walking out of the restrooms that were completely disgusting. Now I know this place is capable of producing a decent meal because we enjoyed one from them in 2014 but this time after inviting another family to join us NEVERAGAIN. Yes the place was busy but seriously almost 2 hrs for a pizza when I had my 6 year old crying that she hadn’t eaten. At that point we went to the bar to ask for the manager and pay for what we have received and 2 locals wanted to fight us. Real lowlife enticing me to fight him in front of my kids. Keep your okay pizza, horrendously slow service, dirty restaurant and lowlife local bar patrons. I’ll find a new pizza place for our ski vacation

Place is dirty, we were sat at a table that still had plates from previous party. I asked if it could be cleaned waitress stated it might be a while since they were short staffed. Waitress was rude and they had no hostess for the busiest week of ski season. Left and went to Gondolas — we had great service, good food and restaurant was clean. Just a side note — we had visited pazzos the year before it was crowded some foul language from some of the guest but the pizza was good.

WARNING: Would not recommend for carry out! After reading multiple reviews of Pazzo’s we decided to try it for carry out during March Madness. Tried to call order in repeatedly and got no answer. Had to stop in the place to order our pizza and was told one hour. Returned over an hour later and was told another five mins. Well that seems ok but it took another half hour with total time of over 90 mins! This all would not be so bad I’d it wasn’t for the fact that all three of us felt it was«LESSTHANEVERAGE». The center was undercooked and watery. The toppings, other than the cheese, were scant.

Tried to call in to place a to go order last night around 7:30PM. Line was busy. When we walked in to ask the gentleman at the counter told us that when the bar is full they pull the phone off the hook. He was right, right behind him the phone was off the hook. Odd for a Pizza place that probably does a lot of business by phone. Not sure if the owner is aware this goes on at his pizza place. Sounds like they do it regularly. That said the Pizza is decent but for the hassle of having to walk in to order then come back to pick up, no thanks.

Service was casual, as in the waiters were sitting at a table and come and check on you from time to time. Had the calzone, delicious. The pizza, I will nit-pick, didn’t have a firm crust. To me that’s the bellwether for good pizza. I suspect that the person working the oven hasn’t mastered the art of knowing where the hot spots are in the oven. One needs to know when the stone has come back up to temp. However, the beer was good and cheap for happy hour. The place seemed popular. I’d wouldn’t hesitate to go back, but I wouldn’t make a special trip.

Best pizza in the valley and good drink deals as well. No wonder why it is packed. We often call ahead and pickup. My advice is order an extra pizza — everyone loves it and the leftovers are amazing the next day. Garlic bread — at least one order for every 3 people.

We went to Pazzo’s after a long day of skiing and were starving. The pizza and garlic cheese bread definitely did not disappoint. We loved the Azteca and ended up adding pineapple to it. This place is definitely what you would expect of a greasy pizza joint. Nothing we ordered could be considered healthy which is exactly what we were looking for that day. The only problem was the service. We were there around 2 in the afternoon and the place was empty. Our pizza took forever(I think it was wrong the first time) and when we talked to the server she was rude and short. I mean I understand that mistakes happen but just let us know and we’ll be understanding. All in all though we’d definitely go back for pizza after a day of skiing.

Man! I forgot to check in here while I was there… but wanted to leave a quick review! The pizza was Super tasty!!! Everyone enjoyed it, we got two large pepperoni and sausage pies for seven people… little did we know each large could have easily fed a small village!!! Great choice for takeout after a long day on the mountain! Our boys really loved it!
