I think that the products here are pretty nice overall. I have been there several times when looking for furniture pieces. I do feel that Consigning Women in Indianapolis offers a greater level of selection/quality. The owner here seemed friendly/nice in most of my encounters with her but I think she was irritated with me the last time for coming in several times without making a purchase. She said, «So are you doing your usual pass through or do you have something specific in mind today?» Little did she know I’ve always had items in mind but ended up making the purchases elsewhere. I was actually kind of offended by this comment as I thought she was implying that I was not a serious shopper. That could not be farther from the truth. I was very close to buying an older dresser from her in excellent condition but found a brand new one at Consigning Women for not much more money. I’ve spent thousands on furniture in the last 12 months(some brand new/some secondhand pieces) so I always have an end goal in mind. I do enjoy browsing for other things when I don’t find what I want but ultimately I have to move on/shop around when I don’t find what I want. Another place I’ve had better luck at was Gilley’s Antique Mall in Plainfield. Huge inventory/great pieces/great prices.

If you love a bargain on quality, pre-owned furniture and home décor shop here. It you have quality items to sell, stop in and chat with the owner. The items change often but generally you’ll find living and/or dining room furniture, kitchen pub table sets, lamps, home accessories, rugs and much more. Many of the items I saw today look practically new but were pre-owned and occasionally you will find new items. All items are clearly priced, displayed in groupings and no claustrophobic or asthma attacks for you in this spacious and tidy location.
The prices are very affordable with clean, quality items you can use immediately in your home. Items are only in store for a maximum of 60 days, if they last that long, and then owner must pick up their consignment pieces. So the décor is constantly changing from week to week. They moved next door approximately a year ago into a much larger, one floor shop surrounded by windows and flooded with natural light. It is very clean with no clutter or musty smell with items arranged in attractive display groups. Now that the entire shop is one level it is accessible for all with plenty of space to maneuver around all the displays. The staff is always very nice and extremely helpful if you have questions. They are located in the second building west of The Old Farm Market(which is now out of business). This is a fantastic store for folks starting out or new home owner wanting affordable but good quality pieces for their home. In just 10 minutes I found 3 must purchase pieces and 4 others I’m now seriously considering. Easy to furnish or accessorize a home on a budget with a terrific shop like this one.
