I showed up on a Friday night 15 minutes before they closed(rude, I know). I walked in apologizing to the woman who was clearly the owner stating that I just needed a pair of black pants and I’d be gone. Not only did she greet me warmly, but she asked for my size and helped me comb the shelves and racks for pants. When I was in the fitting room, she kept handing me pants to try on making it as easy for me as possible. She was chipper, happy, kind and personable and she didn’t make me feel guilty for a single second for showing up at closing. When I was in the fitting room, she asked me if i wanted to join their loyalty program, because of her attitude and her being the only scrubs store on the west side, it was a no-brainer. She needed my name and phone number, and I happily obliged. When I went to check out, I noticed she had a small room off to the side with shoes. My work shoes were on their last legs so I asked if, in spite of the time, I could go check them out really quickly. She again had no issue with it and popped her head into the room while I browsed and made small talk. I found a fantastic pair of shoes for a great price and purchased them. She then threw goodies in the bag for me for nurses week(one of which was a super cool clear zipping bag for my valuables – which is GENIUS. I used it the very next day to keep my phone safe from… stuff…in my pocket). As I walked out the door, nearly 25 minutes after I had entered and easily 10 minutes after I had provided her with my personal information, she said, «Thank you so much, Caitlin! Have a great shift tomorrow!» I just can’t say enough kind things about her or her establishment. If you need scrubs, accessories, shoes, anything medical – this is the place to go. She made what was normally a dreadful experience a great one!
