Oh boy. So this little country butcher shop out in the middle of nowhere holds some magical suprises. I came here with a group of friends from Raleigh who travel all this way for his sausages. The proprietor is an older guy who has roots in Zimbabwe but has been in the states for 30 some odd years. Not only were they so keen on his sausages that they bought 100 pounds worth, but this guy has proper, so hard to find, biltong! For those of you that don’t know what that is, I’ll let you discover for yourself, but it’s the first time I’ve had proper biltong in this country. That was worth the trip for that alone. Nom nom nom…
