Going to Tony’s is like being on the worst reality TV show for driving schools — you just won’t believe your eyes or ears when you witeness the way they do «business» and act around kids. You will constantly ask yourself«How does Tony keep his license?» «Why oh why did I want to save 100 measily dollars on Tony’s when I could go to another driving school that is professional?» This is Tony’s sales edge — 100 dollars cheaper than the reputable driving schools. My son started in April and finished by December. 9 months. Unbelieveable. All because Tony drags it out — says just text him to schedule a driving time. Yes, test him, sure, but wait 3 weeks to receive a text back with one time available — you better be available on that day! He flat-out refuses to schedule in advance and makes it incredibly difficult to work with him. He knows he is difficult and doesn’t care in the least bit. As if this wasn’t enough, Tony constantly screams at the kids during classtime and driving sessions(I’m not exaggerating)– «You are my worst student, you will never pass your test. You will have to come back and take more lessons — you are that bad.» Then Tony would make inappropriate jokes right after — yes, off-color, inappropriate jokes to high school students. When we attending the parent night, he acted like a dishelved, drunk or drugged stand-up comic, making fun of the kids and telling jokes about being a driving school instructor. The kicker — my son’s January road test — Tony FORGETS to submit the paperwork and we have to reschedule the road test. Why did he forget? Probably attitude«enhancers» and/or the mounds of paper in his office and no computer — everything is sent by postal service. BTWay, my son did pass his drivers test on the first time.
