I never thought I would give a poor review to a DQ, but here it is. I just moved out here and am so surprised.
This Dairy Queen has got to be the slowest fast food joint within thirty miles. It takes forever to get ANYTHING.
The other day we ordered two diet cokes in the drive thru and my family was trying to get me to walk into the DQ to «pick them up myself because maybe we’d get them faster».
At that point you may as well hold their hands and show them how to work the soda fountain. No thank you.

This is exactly what I would expect from a small town DQ. Best way to describe it… Think of everything you wouldn’t want to find in a DQ and this is it. Poor service (teens more concerned with texting), poor food, poor location (completely run down). Been here once. And that will be my last. I really can’t believe that DQ would allow such a bad example to stay in business.

I would never eat food here. We do come here for ice cream when we are in the area. Not driving out of the way for this one. Most of the help is of the teenage variety. I have to admit the resent batch are not too bad. Last visit I got a medium blizzard and it was not mixed all the way to the bottom. This is a common problem. How hard is it? I do love their s’mores blizzard. Little pieces of graham cracker, small chunks of chocolate and marshmallow mixed in. Yum-​O. There are way better DQs than this one in which to get them. One is the Montgomery St location.

My kids are always begging to go here… and every time I give in, I say I’ll never go back. This restaurant is the absolute slowest in town. Half the time, the ice cream machines are out of order. One time we went and could NOT pay with cash, ONLY a card. Really? How does that happen?! If it weren’t for their Blizzards and dipped cones, this one would earn zero stars. Good grief.

It’s a Dairy Queen! The counter help are teens who are trying their best to remember a Buster Bar from a Dipped Cone. The saving grace of this extremely slow Dairy Queen is the fact the local TV station found them to have the coldest and the best Ice Cream around. Plus, there is always a line at the DQ…
