The wife and I are huge fans of Reds, often citing it as the best place to eat in Azle. The service via the walk up counter was always friendly and patient(oft times my family has decision making issues). The burgers are quite good with some imaginative toppings and creations. Each time weve been there they’ve been juicy and cooked spot on. We also enjoy the sides and appetizers. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars, is that the water has a serious problem where it literally tastes«dirty». While I realize that they may not be able to help this easily, as it may be city water, I still believe it needs mentioning.

I took my 6 year old son to lunch today for what he called a bro’ day. It was around noon and it was kind of busy but, the line moved rather quickly. My son ordered the kids meal burger with fries and a drink and I ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Our bill came out just under $ 15 which I thought was rather reasonable. The burgers were pretty good, not the best I have had, not the worst either but, it was conveniently located to where we live, it had a good atmosphere and as I previously mentioned, it was reasonably priced. However, my favorite part about this place was the people working there. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smiling face and made to feel welcome. We were checked on several times while eating and my son was offered and accepted a chocolate chip cookie near the end of our meal. After just the one visit it is hard to say that the service is always this good but, I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu.

Loves this place. Great hometown history display. Fantastic burgers! Get the Reds burger or any of the specialty burgers that they cycle through keeping the ingredients fresh and delicious

Big fan of a great local burger! Chili cheese fries are a dinner on their own, but you cannot stop there! Great service and you can tell whomever is in the kitchen cares about their craft!

Great atmosphere, friendly, good beer selection. 4 star not 5 because I believe they changed the hamburger meat(par to sub par beef). Everything else is AWESOME.

Opted to eat here since we were on a day-long road trip. The outside is adorable and the interior is clean and cute, so our hopes were high. Unfortunately, they weren’t met. To start, if you don’t like your burgers well done, this is not the place for you. Our request for ‘medium-rare’ was greeted with confusion. When the burger was brought out, it was called ‘medium,’ but it was no such thing. Bun was crispy and the toppings were fresh, but the meat was well done and dry as a bone. Fries are hand cut, but rather soggy, and so salty I could only eat a few. After eating I turned my attention to the root beer float. A float is a float is a float, but… this one was made with pretty tasteless vanilla ice cream that was full of ice chunks and not creamy in the least. I left mostly feeling as though I had squandered my junk food fix for the day.

The service here is awesome and the food is even better! Red’s Burger was amazing and the fries were just as good. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious burger if you are near Azle.

Great food! Burgers are always good and the Philly Sandwich is also great. The chicken nachos are good — especially if you add guacamole. Prices are on par with sit down restaurants: $ 9 – 11 per person. Service is friendly, plus they have hand made shakes, malts and beer on tap. There is kid friendly good as well as appetizers. Lunch and dinner hours are busy, but there’s usually a place to sit. Food is made to order so call ahead of you need to-go in a hurry. The restaurant is always clean and I’ve never had an order come out wrong(I make a lot of adjustments and add-ons).

Great food and beer! It’s no Fred’s Texas, but for those of us who aren’t up for the drive into Fort Worth, it’s the very next best thing. Everything here is handcrafted, and they even have St. Arnold Root Beer on tap! It’s a bit pricy, but certainly worth it.

Red’s is great family owned and operated local business. We eat there a couple times a month. The food is always fresh and made to order. They offer very good specialty burgers, wraps, and hot dogs. The creative minds here are very food oriented and are not afraid to try new things. They will custom make anything as long as they have the ingredients. The beer selection for such a small place in a small town is AMAZING! If you have not tried red’s you need to. The owners are very supportive of all local functions and other local businesses. Great people fresh ingredients and hospitality like no other.

Little, local place to grab a sandwich, I have only tried it once so far but my group were all happy with what they got. My Philly cheesesteak was tasty. Not authentic mind you, but it exceeded my expectations. Service was friendly and it looks like the staff keep things clean. I will definitely give them another go and see how they do. So far, so good…

I’ve been coming to Red’s since it opened. What I love about this place is the caring«feeling» you get from the food, the employees, and the establishment as a whole. This is a good olé’ family run business. The burgers are high quality and the service makes you feel like Norm from the old TV show Cheers. This place knows your name. And it’s apparent by the long lines on some days that I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’ve tried Rodeo Goat, the supposed king of burgers in Fort Worth. Sorry… I’ll take Red’s any day of the week. Keep your pretentious over-priced burgers. I’ll be enjoying a Red’s burger and keep coming back because they really care about their customers.

So the hubby and I decided to celebrate our 2 year anniversary by hiking and burgers in Fort Worth. I know, not quite traditional, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Anyway, after a beautiful hike around Eagle Mountain Lake, we set out for a certain restaurant on the lake who’s name I won’t mention(haha) and it turns out they were closed. Bummer! But no fear, Unilocal is here ;) I simply looked up the closest burger place with the best reviews and found Red’s. We were in luck, indeed. Red’s surprised me because for a big-city girl like me, Azle was quite a shock in size. I honestly didn’t expect much when we drove into town but I was pleasantly surprised. The building is very modern and clean, very inviting. The staff are all super-friendly and sweet. I ordered a traditional cheeseburger with fries and the hubby had his with blue cheese and bacon. Needless to say, we both absolutely loved our burgers. I wouldn’t say they were the best«ever», but they were definitely finger-lickin-good. Oh, as were the fries. Also appreciated the fact that they have tasty milkshakes and carry Shiner here. Had a good time!

I had The Stinger with fries… Burger loaded with hatch chiles and the fixins. Burger dripped with juicy-ness. Hatch chiles I wished packed some heat but gave good flavor. Everyone there was super nice and helpful with the menu. Atmosphere was relaxed and great. Beer sold here to go with your burgers.
