Have eaten here once for late lunch food tasty and reasonably priced. They were short help but friendly. Noticed they have already done away with dinner hours. Hope this place makes it. Location little off beaten path but word of mouth will help.

Food is good but service is HORRIBLE! We have had the slowest service three times in a row now. Went for breakfast today. Took over 30 minutes to get our food. People that came in after us got their food, ate and left before we even came close to getting our food. Will definitely not be back!!!

Well we tried this place for the first time as we have heard it was good. Wanted breakfast and we were told that they won’t cook fried eggs cause a week or two ago a big table came in and they got mad because it took so long to order fried eggs. So everything I tried to order off the menu they told me they don’t have it. Very nice place but not good if you can’t have anything on the menu.

Went in for breakfast. Reasonably priced meals. From the looks of my eggs, I would bet they are local and not shipped in from across the country. They had large almost orange yolks. The gravy was also good. The potatoes were disappointing, no color and no seasoning.

This review is for breakfast. Lunch experience seems like it would be better. Pleasant little comfort food café in the Azle-Reno-Center Point area. The building is new(or newly renovated) and quite clean, with a barn-like atmosphere. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly, though short-handed. — — — — — - Pluses: The staff The atmosphere. Moderate prices with nice portions Hot pot of pintos and cornbread set out for people to serve themselves a free bowl or two. Homemade biscuits Minuses: In my opinion, if you are going to offer gravy and biscuits, you better make a decent gravy or at least use a decent boxed mix. This homemade glop could be called gravy in looks only. Bland, gummy, awful. Sorry, but that cost them a star. We had omelets. A big plus is that they don’t charge you to put in the extra ingredients. A big minus was that the ingredients were minced so fine you could barely tell one from the other. People eat with their eyes first, and in a good omelette, the ingredients play the starring role. My omelette was underdone and runny, just barely acceptable. That cost them another star. Country potatoes should be more than just diced and fried potato chunks. Throw a little seasoned salt on them at the minimum; better yet, spiff them up with some green pepper and onion. — — — — — – Truthfully, just a few tweaks is all it would take. All this said, it appears to me that the lunch items offer a better experience. We’ll give it another try sometime. But definitely not ordering breakfast.
