Came to eat here with my husband. Got the chorizo burrito. And honestly. It’s the best I’ve had so far. The lady that works here is really nice. Cute spot.

Usually lag on orders I’d check your food before you leave they have some of the worst order accuracy I’ve ever seen. It’s a hit or miss with food quality. sometimes nice neat tacos other times sloppy messy tacos decent deals prices open all night though which is cool. It’s worth checking out.

I loved this place. as soon as you walk in, you see a older Mexican lady making homemade tortillas. My buddy and I were hung over and a little bummed by the LA Kings losing, but when we smelled the tortillas and knew they had beer, we were down. I had the enchiladas and tacos and they were very good. My buddy had huevos racheros and he gobbled them right up. When the local Spanish population comes into a Mexican Restaurant, then you know its good. Go here, grab a beer and put your feet up. They will take care of you

Brought my parents to eat here and one of my moms tacos came with one piece of meat only and she went up to tell the lady about it and the lady responded with they are a dollar what do you expect this lady always has a mean attitude and I don’t understand how this place is still running with such horrible management and customer service. This is coming from someone who comes 1 – 2 times a week well used to because I am not coming to this place ever again.

This is one of the few Mexican food places that really shine. I had sat down to scarf a delicious chicken enchilada here and it basically melted my taste buds. Yes, it was that good. Even the $ 1 Wednesday tacos are way better than Jack-in-the-Box, Taco Bell, or Chipotle. Although JITB does in a pinch, Taco King certainly stands out. Great prices on all kinds of treats, lunch and dinner specials… you can’t go wrong to get a lot for a little cash. The ambiance is kind of cozy, but it certainly stands out above the rest. Give them a chance and you just might become a repeat customer. I try to go in when I can.

I Live Across The Street From Here, I Love Mexican Food, & They’re 24 Hours = Heaven I Have Ate From Here & The Gladstone Location Many Times But I Finally Decided To Review. The Drive-Thru Takes Entirely TOO Long, The Prices Are $ 0.50 — $ 1.75 Overpriced, They Give Citrus &APU10% Discount, The Beans Have Pork In Them So I Do Double Rice, & It’s A Charge To Use Your Card For $ 10& Under. I Love The Carne Asada Fries With Rice Instead Of Beans & The Addition Of Green Enchilada Sauce. They Have One Of The Best Salsas I Have EVER Tasted Lol I Could Eat The Salsa Alone. I Love That They Have A Man Who Speaks Fluent English Because My Spanish Is Not That Good. I Love The Chicken Enchiladas & The Beef/Chicken Taquitos. I Really Like This Place I Wish The Beans Were Lard-Free Tho.

$ 5 dollar minimum on credit card. Waited 5 minutes for a horchata shake, wouldn’t let us use debit card in the drive through, speaker on drive through window was broken. One star because they had decent service. But their shake is amazing.

I had a late night stop in the area so decided to test the local shops… What can I say… I wasn’t pleased… ordered the asada tacos and a drink… the meat on the tacos got progressively worse with each taco… WAY too much salt. and heavy on the pepper… place looked kinda run down… better than going home hungry I guess… over all I can say I’d hit another spot next time

It saddens me that the service here has dropped this much since the last time we came here. We ordered fish tacos, al pastor tacos, a side of rice and beans, and a gordita, and are still waiting for it on the side of the drive thru. It’s been 25 minutes since we pulled up, and after it took another 7 minutes to be attended to at the window, we were asked to pull to the side because«the gordita was taking long». Finally after another 10 minutes, our food was brought to us and our order was still wrong. Only reason we stayed was because we paid already. Sad to say I will hesitate coming back to Taco King. 30 minutes for food that was still made incorrectly.

I eat here from time to time. Food is decent. Never had a really big problem. Although a big problem would be the wait. Especially in the drive thru. But today I went to get chicken soup. I have been sick with an upset stomach. So I thought it would help. NO. Chicken was black and rancid. Took one bite and nearly spit up. I called to complain. And they said they hadn’t sold a chicken soup today. This will definitely will be the last time I eat here.

Me and my friend both got pretty intense food poisoning from this taco king. And on a separate visit there were a couple dead flies in our food. I know it’s good and it’s cheap, but I would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere.

Tried this place because it was close by and open late. Halfway thru my meal i recalled i had this food at another location before. I dont know what was louder the volume of the tele or the décor, whoa! Food was not great. Had tacos de asada and al pastor. Meat eh, salsa ehhhhh, chips eh. Should have just skipped eating this and gone home to sleep.

18 years ago when I was a student at Citrus College I would ride my bike from Monrovia, one very hot day I stopped and asked for a cup of water, they said no and I’ve never stepped foot inside again.

Very rude owner… went there and ordered a burrito. It was $ 4.95. So woman tells me, «It’s $ 5 minimum for card. I say, «I’m only 5 cents off.» She then turns around and yells to the cook in Spanish«DON’T MAKEMETHATBURRITO.» So I ask her in a calm, cool, and collected voice, «When did I ever tell you that I don’t want the burrito?» She proceeded to argue with me and I walked out of this crappy place after she stated that she doesn’t have to listen to me… well, I don’t have to buy her crappy food.

Gross, never eating here again. The fish tacos were disgusting… covered in a thick glob of cream sauce. The nachos were a soggy mess that tasted like the tortilla chips had cinnamon on them. What a waste of money.

I got the birria goat stew, $ 9.50. The meat was tender and well flavored. Plate came with refried beans, rice, chopped onions and 3 tortillas. Plenty of food. You can get extra tortillas for 50c. Mexican mariachi music on the TV kinda matches the cantina décor style here. Staff were cool when the menu showed lower price than I was charged. 82c refund. Cha-ching! The kitchen is slow considering this is a stewed dish that should be ready to serve. Open 24⁄7 if that’s that’s your kinda thing.

I used to like the tacos, but the last few times I have gone the food has gone downhill. I ordered tacos and the tortillas were cold and hard. the meat wasn’t terrible, but it used to be better. Seems like they are trying to make some changes there by remodeling a little, but they need to focus on their food. Burritos are deflated and are basically bean burritos, little meat. Ordered a torta the other day and the bread was a bit soggy and the torta was all bread… not much filling. I walked in today and they are now selling gallons of milk. Seriously? Gallon of milk at a mexican spot for food. They need to concentrate on the food rather than selling meat from some market, catering services, ice cream, and all the other things advertised all over the walls. I’m sad to say that I doubt I’ll be ordering from this place again. It used to be so much better. What happened?

Decent nachos supreme(asada) despite the place being in a shady location and looking kinda run down. The staff are very friendly and the food came out pretty quick. There is a small sit down area if you’d like to eat there. The menu is pretty extensive and even has a breakfast and American menu too. All in all, not bad.
