About ½ way through a 3 hour drive with my hubby, 3 year old and yappy chi I turned to Unilocal to find a quick place to eat. The fish tacos and chili pepper they served with it were amazing! The al pastor taco didn’t wow hubby but my daughter devoured her quesadilla. My only complaint is there isn’t one closer to us. We will defiantly be back next time we are in the area.

FISHTACOS! FISHTACOS! FISHTACOS! Definitely at the top of my favorite fish taco joints list! The fish itself is fresh and flavorful. The batter is thick, but not too thick. The crisp level from the batter that comes with each bite heavenly. I love it! It also comes with seasoned peppers(if you don’t get the combo). Those are also delicious & spicy! The only con about this place would be it’s location/parking. It’s on a one way street so this could get difficult for first timers. The parking lot and Taco Nazo itself is separated by a house. But there is a sign directing you to the parking lot(there’s also street parking). Overall, I will definitely be back for some more fish tacos!

Great fish tacos hands down! The peppers are amazing. Little on the smaller side for me, but great tacos

soggy fish tacos, still good though. shrimp tacos are always good. it would get 5 stars if the place didn’t smell funky like food gone bad, if the prices went down a bit it would be a better fit for the food cause these tacos aren’t worth 3 $ or even $ 2.50. The prices shouldn’t be so high because they pay minimum wage here and they get the product cheap. if this place had a drive thru it would be A1. Also never get anything besides the fish or shrimp tacos, every other meat they have is trash, very nasty!

Holy crap! BESTFISHTACOSEVERRRRRRRR! The fish is very tasty and the fact that it’s breaded thickly and fried just blows me away, i’m a texture eater, and boy I can eat 5 of these Fish tacos in one seating, its just that great. I can’t have any fish tacos else where because taco nazo set the bar very high, I can’t settle for anything less! HAHA I love the extra batter! The breaded fish is superb, the garnishes like the sauce and lettuce tie in really well with the flavors, making a very bold taste, and simply the best fish tacos EVERRRRRRR! Horchata is really great as well! Sometimes I drive 15 miles just to get these bad boys!

I’ve been here a handful of times, i’ve tried many other fish taco joints in the OC and LA area so i have an idea of what to look for. Service: is great, friendly and accurate. Food: The meat tacos are ok. asada is a little overcooked, pastor are good. The Fish Tacos have a good flavor but in my opinion, they have to much batter. Condiments: they have a condiments bar on the side with all the fixings. Except for the roasted(yellow) chilies. You are only able to get 2 of them per order. Now I love spicy and biting into those chilies is a must for me. So when i asked to get more, i was denied and was told that you only get two per order and they will be extra charge if I wanted more.

I was here about a week ago. The service is okay, they don’t make you feel so welcome. The tacos are really good and that is why I’m giving them four stars. The have a really good flavor.

A girl in my music class raved about this place so i had to check it out. I got two fish tacos. I had to since the sign displaying the restaurant said they have the world’s finest fish tacos. I also got one al pastor taco, chips and guamole. My sister got a chicken burrito. Out of everything the fish tacos were definitely the best. I couldn’t figure out what made them so good because honestly the way it was made was pretty standard. Lettuce, diced tomatoes, creama and a generous portion of fried fish. Maybe it was the creama maybe the fish idk but it was unique and simply good. I was disappointed at my al pastor burrito. There was nothing special about it and al pastor is my favvvv :(. Chicken burrito was pretty good too. Nice flavor but nothing more to say about that. I would come back for the fish tacos and probably try the shrimp tacos since people think they’re pretty bomb. I guess you can’t go wrong with having at least one pretty awesome dish.

My mum and I came here for dinner a couple Sundays back. We were in the Glendora area and we decided to give this taco spot a try since it’s in the vicinity and I read good reviews. There’s parking on the side but you can also park on the street, keeping in mind that it’s a one way street. We ordered the 6 pack fish tacos and small chips. We knew we also wanted chiles gueritas so I asked for a side order of those. The cashier was kind enough to let us know that the 6 pack fish tacos already come with chiles gueritas(woot!). So we didn’t have to order an extra side. Bless her soul. There’s a salsa bar with salsa verde and roja and pico de gallo. They also have limes and pickles and radishes in there. Mmmm I love their chips. The small is good enough for two people. The fish in their fish tacos are the biggest I’ve seen so you definitely get your money’s worth here. Dare I say best fish tacos in the San Gabriel Valley? Yep. Need to come back here soon.

There’s a closer location to me in El Monte, but it seems like the quality is consistent across all of these chains. This is one of my top places to go to for fish tacos(you should check out Tacos La Bufadora as well!!). Fish tacos are a must try. Enough to repeat myself, apparently. Share the taco packs with friends or get the combo. Fat pieces, pretty filling. In terms of other things, the ceviche is also really good. A lot of people I know also really like the potato tacos. Not bad, but not my thing. If I’m here, I’m going for the same thing I’m mentioning in all three of these paragraphs: Fish tacos.

I can name a ton of places that have better fish tacos than Taco Nazo, but they are good and my husband loves the shrimp tacos here, so we stopped in for a few. Service is super nice, like the condiment bar, descent seating and pretty clean store. Food came out quickly, prices and portions are fair. Not a fan of their meat or anything else on the menu and since I don’t like shrimp, I stick to the fish, will do, but not worth going out of my way to come back for.

I come here about once a month when I want unbeatable tacos. There’s a taco shop within walking distance of my house and I still come here when I want the best. The fish tacos are where it’s at. The white chilies are good too. Not a lot of parking but there are two separate lots plus street parking.

The fish tacos here are pretty good– the fish is big enough and the taste is great. You can kind of taste the batter in between the fish and the fried batter, but that’s cool since it was a thin layer. We got a 12-pack of mixed tacos and added a 3-pack of potato tacos and were quite stuffed. My friend also got chips and guac– and the chips here were salty at the bottom of course, but not as greasy and inedible as when I visited the El Monte location a few years back. Get the fish taco– I still like Tacos La Bufadora too though! The carne asada taco was just ok and not very flavorful. That’s for you to douse with your selection of sauces. The al pastor taco was so damn flavorful, however, but very greasy since it left the paper it was sitting on a nice puddle of that orangey oil. But it was good and just right– a bit salty but at least it wasn’t dry! Potato tacos were just mashed potato inside a fried empanada-like shell. My buddy and I much preferred empanadas more. It’d be great if this had cheese… and meat. Hell, just make it an empanada! But if this is all you wanted, it’s pretty good with a crispy thin shell and piping hot mashed potato inside. We had a great experience here, the food didn’t take too long to come out despite there being many people. I’d come back again for fish tacos and the al pastor! Mmmm…

Los tacos de camarón son mis favoritos en este lugar, y aunque el lugar no está woww tiene lo necesario mesas comodas y un patio con mesas afuera. Lo único que me encantaría es que ya cambien su música norteña por otro tipo de música mexicana.
