This was my first charter boat experience in New York and I have to say I was extremely happy! The crew were fantastic and super friendly. There were a lot of kids screwing around, not listening and getting tangled with everyone else but the crew maintained their professional and helpfulness. When we were not catching anything the captain moved the boat to another location. Everyone caught something however they were not large enough to keep. If you have never fished before that might disappoint you. However if you know a thing or two about fishing you understand that sometimes that’s how it goes. I had an absolute blast and I will most definitely be going on the Capt. Gillen again here in the next few days.

Terrible. The captain refuses to change spots even when no one has caught anything for an hour. If you want to waste $ 45 and do nothing, this boat is the perfect fit for you. Take other boats like JIB VI or the Captree Princess.
