Love Gemellis! My go to place for prepping Italian dinners and for a quick lunch. I could actually live off their orzo salad — it’s mixed w/​goat cheese, diced peppers, onions, & olive oil. They’re homemade tomato sauce is also another fave in my house!

I called Gemelli’s on the Tuesday evening before Christmas, asking for what I thought was the impossible. I needed about 30 specialized gift baskets for the next morning! They worked on assembling the perfect baskets, with high quality content, until late in the night. I picked up all of the baskets that I ordered and was able to deliver them to my clients before Christmas! All of the recipients were very happy. This is the type of service that you can’t get at one of the the big «supermarket» type «specialty» stores that are popping up. Gemelli’s food is also very high quality and delicious and they treat you like family. Thanks again, you guys delivered a Christmas Miracle to me!

Fabulous! Great place for all Italian. EVERYTHING is top shelf. If in Babylon, you MUST give it a try. I guarantee you will leave with many fine things to eat.

Can always trust Gemelli’s Market for fresh, delicious food! Salads, pastas, cheeses, produce, breads, cookies, meats, prepared sandwiches are all delicious and my favorite is their thin cheese and parsley sausage rings — it’s absolutely the Best!!!

I ordered from Gemelli’s for a party that we had for a first birthday. I did a lot of research trying to find the best prices. What I liked so much was that if you order over 3ft in party hero’s, you receive 1lb of salads for every foot. That’s a great deal and no other businesses really do that anymore. Everyone loved the hero’s and the salads. honestly the potato and macaroni salads were the best I have ever had. The hero’s were so fresh too. I will definitely be ordering from them again!!!

Pound cake was dryer than my grandmas mermaid purse. Only good thing was the hot cashier with the hipster glasses.

So I mistakenly reviewed the restaurant here, which is my favorite go to spot. Just love it but the market is a great place to shop. Everything is fresh. Delicious. It’s impossible to pick what you might like. I go in thinking one thing and almost always leave with something else. I also have done some catering at the holidays. Again, never disappointed!

Avoid the packaged vegetables… Cost $ 7.99 and the vegetables went bad. The carrots were slimy, the celery turned brown… Gross

Great pre marinated food to throw on the bbq. Everything looks so good I want to try it all!
And one day I will!

They catered two First Birthday parties for my son (divorced Grandparents). There prices were actually better than most super markets and other Italian Deli’s in the area. Their macaroni salad was the best I ever had.

Just a little bit of elaboration. See, we are West Coast people. Originally our families were from here, but I admit, we’ve been in California so long it hardly counts, right? Right. So when we come here for a visit with family we are always looking for a good deli, a good ‘regular pie’, all the things we cannot get in southern california, the land of fruits and nuts. And don’t forget the flakes. :D
What brought me to Gemelli’s were the reviews. Lots of people kept saying how it was a mix of the old fashioned italian markets mixed with a high quality deli, a bit pricey but no one seemed to mind. So since we were already doing a few things in the vicinity (heck, who am i kidding? we would have driven out of our way for this place!!) we decided to stop by and judge for ourselves.
Yes, it is somewhat of an old time italian market/​deli, except their fresh baked (daily) bread is simply out of this world delicious. Crusty, soft on the inside, and wonderful flavor. They all say it’s the water here, but what do i know? Just know it’s AWESOME. Buy a loaf to snack on.
To go along with our sandwiches (we chose the Godfather and the Chelsea) we got a few varieties of olives, including some gorgonzola stuffed ones. Salt overload but so delicious we didn’t care at all. Packed it all away in one of their patented Gemelli’s zip up storage bags and we were off for the rest of our day’s adventure which included a trip up to Montauk.
By the time we got to Montauk, we were starving and feared the worst of our sandwiches, namely that they had gotten soggy during the 90 minute trip. What can i say, traffic was horrible… but we were wrong. The sandwich bread (we tried seeded and non seeded-​bother were delicious) was definitely not soggy but still crispy on the outside and soft inside with all the sandwich ingredients yummy and flavorful. The sandwiches are pretty large so we only ate half (except Robby, who is gifted and ate the whole sub!) and saved the rest for later. Hey, who doesn’t want a yummy midnight snack later?
All in all, an amazing find for us and now a place we will visit again and again during our yearly sojourns to New York. Thank you, Gemelli’s for a wonderful experience!

Great place, I’m in here every week at least. Their prices have come back to reality and I have returned.

I’ve been a Gemelli’s customer for more than 10 years. I tend to go hear for vegetables, meats, side dishes, pasta, and bread. And the stuffed pork chops are delizioso!

Found this spot by accident. I was going to a diner near here and they closed early. Then I just started to walk around and saw this spot. Its like a unique grocery store & deli in one. I ordered one of their special sandwiches. I got the hot chicken chipolte sandwich with blue cheese and bacon. It was so good. I also picked up a few B & W cookies. Yum Yum. The only downside was there is NO place to eat inside or outside. So this is all take-​out food. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to of found this spot.

Their burgers are SO DAMNED GOOD! They are pricey but worth it and definitely pick up a jar of their sauce. You can even use it on other, sub-​par burgers and it disguises them as being a tad bit better… but not Gemelli’s. If you want the good stuff, get the real stuff. They have kebabs, seasoned cuts of meat, seafood, salads and countless other items.
You will not be disappointed, whatever you buy.

EXPENSIVE! lets get that out of the way.
The owner thinks who he is. Around the block from you. you have Babylon meat market (which i think has just as good as meats) and Storks.
!!The specialty stuff is the key here though people! Try the dipping oil. I swear I gained at least 4 pounds from that stuff.

Went to get a hero, and they were out of rolls… Also, they close too early. The meats look so good but never tried them, the riceballs aren’t the greatest. I’ll try their lasagne or baked ziti next time. Minus 2 stars for store hours and bread.
Oh, and they are EXPENSIVE! Meh…

This was the perfect stop on the way to the beach. We grabbed awesome sandwiches, and drinks, as well as snacks. They hit the spot while we were sitting in the blazing sun! We’ll totally be back on our way out again. The meat selection was also pretty amazing. I didn’t like the bread that my pre-​made sandwich came on, so I was able to switch it out for homemade grain bread that they had samples of at the front. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!
