Brooklyn Pizza

I was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. I read the reviews on Brooklyn pizza that stated their pizza was just like New York pizza. So I went over there today to give it a try and I have to tell you their pizza in my opinion is just as good as New York pizza. If you want a slice of pizza that tastes like you are in a pizzeria in Brooklyn this is the place to go.
The only thing that surprised me a little bit is that they stop selling by the slice at 3 PM. So you have to buy a pie after 3 PM.
I bought a large cheese pizza and I only live about 5 miles away. By the time I got home I only had two slices left out of the pie. It was too good not to eat on the way home. I highly recommend this place if you want the taste of New York pizza.
I hope they will go to selling by the slice all the time.

Best pizza I’ve had in many years! Fresh ingredients and the crust was just right… Not soggy like many of the chains.

Showed up around 11am on a Saturday. Seemed very quiet. I was skeptical as was my wife. We took our time and read through our choices. Salads and an extra large pie.
Service was great. Owner was very pleasant and engaging.
Be brought our salads. They were fresh and crisp. More so that at some of the tourist spots up in Kemah.
The pizza seemed to take awhile to arrive. But the brief wait was well worth it.
Very Brooklyn. Great thin crust. Folds just right. Slices cut to the right size, not this wimpy girly small slice size.
We could not stop eating. I recommend you go. Take your time. Bring your cold beer.
If you are on a diet. I can recommend you go somewhere else unless you get a cheat day.

Some of the most amazing pizza that you can find in the Bayshore area. I know folks the drive-​in from Webster just to get the pizza here. The interior design is minimalistic, but they provide a comfortable space to eat pizza in the restaurant and they are very fast in their preparation. Any of their specialty pizzas are excellent. They also make an excellent calzone.

Having been born and raised in NYC, the pizza here is better and more ‘Brooklyn’ than 90% of the pizzerias I’ve had in all of NYC. This isn’t your bland commercial/​franchise pizza, this is authentic New York styled pizza made fresh crisp and tasty. The owner himself lived in Brooklyn for many years and it’s obvious he brought his skills and craft with him to Texas. Would recommend.

Really Good fresh food… quick service. We order take out from Brooklyn often. Everything we have ordered has been fresh and really tasty.

Moved to Texas from NY area and was so disappointed that there were no good mom & pop pizza shops (and I do not like franchise pizzas). I decided to give this place a try since it is near my house and I always drive pass it. It was amazing! The best pizza I ever had in TX and even better than some places up northeast. Wings are good too, and staff is friendly. Should definitely give them a try!

This is about the best pizza wing place in south east Texas. Great food. Nice locally owned place. Love it.

Used to be an excellent place to eat, but that was when they first opened. now it’s just a overpriced regular pizza place. staff is super friendly, and they have a decent variety but still overpriced.

We ordered a meat lovers pizza & we loved it! The cheese was high quality and so was the pizza. We also ordered a salad and our total for both was about 22 bucks. The freshness and amount of pizza is definitely worth the price! Can’t wait to order again!

The staff was ok, but the pizza was amazing! Probably the best pizza you’re gonna find outside of New York. My wife hates pizza and she thought it was delicious. I highly recommend! Being from New Jersey I have looked long and unsuccessfully for NY style pizza. Brooklyn Pizza fits my requirements perfectly. The pizza crust is true New York. The toppings and sauce are fresh. My daughter and I had the meat lovers. It was fantastic! They also offer sandwiches, calzones, salads and pasta dishes. During lunch hours they sell the pizza by the slice, another sign it is a true New York pizza joint. The owner, who is from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, has brought a true New York pizza to the Gulf Coast. I’ll be back! My new pizza home!

Nice staff. Delicious NY-​style pizza. In fact, I’ve had pizza at many NY/​NJ pizza joints that weren’t this good. Nice charred crust. Excellent sauce, which so many pizzerias mess up on (sauce is supposed to be simple). And a cheese with just the right ratio of saltiness.
I’ll be back. Many more times.

This place was really good. I love going to local pizza places and Brooklyn Pizza did not disappoint. I had the meat lover calzone and my wife had lasagna. My wife is picky and she loved the lasagna. It had tons of sauce, meat, cheese and looked great. She wouldn’t give me a bite… The Calzone was fantastic. Sooooooo much cheese and lots of meet. It’s also really big.
I also had some wings. This is the only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5. Wings were big, sauce was good but it was mostly wings… Only two drummys. Not a huge deal. I highly recommend. Enjoy.

First and foremost, I’m not from Brooklyn and I’ve only been to New York once, so I’m not an expert on NY style pizza. What I am an expert on is good pizza though since I married someone who loves pizza.
With that being said, I do think this place is a solid, 4 star pizza joint! They didn’t earn the extra star for 2 reasons:
1) the employees are not really friendly, which is surprising for being in a small town.
2) the crust is just a touch thicker than I like and it was very chewy … Like, I cut it with a knife chewy.
I can honestly say that, even though it’s good, I won’t be back because it’s too far from my home in West League City and for a 5 star pie, that’s just minutes from home, I’ll go to Luigi’s off of Hwy 3.

Great pizza. Best I have ever had in life. The best wings in town. I stay in League City. And I have even esteemed at Pizza King.
It’s a family owned business. The place is small but family n friend a friendly. Byob. The father, who is also the cook, is a good man. My car broke down there, and he wanted to help, despite him having to make pizzas.
To make a long story short, my fav meal is their hot buffalo wings, and their ranch dip. I loveeee it. The pizza I had reminded me of the NY street pizza, but not greasy. I had the supreme, sub jalapenos for mushrooms. Mama MIA. They are authentic Italians. They speak the language and all. Anyways, go try em. You won’t be disappointed.

You want authentic New York Pizza? This is the place to go! This is my favorite pizza parlor in the area. The crust is seasoned perfectly and isn’t too thick or thin with loads of fresh toppings. Served piping hot with lots of cheese. Its just a really great pizza.

I discovered this place after being told about it by a friend who at one time lived in New York for awhile. He said it was the most authentic New York Pizza in the bay area! I finally stopped in for lunch one day when I was in the area. Holy Smokes!!! The Pizza was fabulous!!! I got the house specialty pizza with everything on it. It was SO good that I saved a couple of pieces and brought it going for the wife to try when she got off work. When she tried it her eyes lit up and I was making the 15″ minute trip from our house back to Bacliff!!! I called it in before I left thinking it would take about 20 to 25″ minutes to get it ready. When I walked in the door after the 15″ drive they had my pizza ready to go!!! Their other pizzas are really good as well. Now we usually get a Pepperoni and Cheese to go with the special since the kids favor it more. We have been coming back ever since!!! So if your in the mood for a real New York style pizza, give Brooklyn Pizza a try. You’ll be glad you did!

I have driven by this place so many times I can’t even tell you. But I never went
today at being in the house and just starving to death I decided to give it a try. Based a lot on the positive reviews here on Unilocal.No I have never been to New York so I cannot tell you what a true New York pizza taste like. but I can’t tell you these guys make a pretty good pie. I got the meat lovers and I was not disappointed it was a very good thin crust pizza
I always like to give small businesses and local businesses a shot and these guys did pretty good. I will definitely be going back
Plus there is a sign that says BYOB
So next time I go I think I’ll stop and get me a six pack first
