Pulled up to the drive thru, there were only 2 other cars in front of us. One ordering and one waiting and then us. First car got done ordering, next pulled up and was there for a little over 5 minutes. At first, we thought they just hasn’t decided yet and were taking their time. Then when it was our turn, the guy on the speaker asked us to give him just a moment. We said okay and waited. Window down, in the rain, waited. After about 5 – 7 minutes, I said«hello?» And he responded with«welcome to jack in the box, what can I get you?» I said«you told us to hold on a moment and never came back on to tell us you were ready to take our order.» He didn’t even apologize! Very rude! It then took forever to get our food! It should take no more than 5 minutes from start of putting in your order, to driving off when you are getting food from a fast food restaurant. 20+ minutes is not fast food! When we got to the window, I asked why it was taking so long and the kid replied that there were only 4 people working right now. I asked for the manager, and he never got her. Then, when trying to ask for condiments we honked twice, and tried waiving them down until we finally got his attention again. Absolutely ridiculous! They had 5 cars in the parking lot which were probably mostly the employees, and 3 in the drive thru when we left. I worked fast food for 6 years and never made people wait that long no matter how short staffed we were.

Well hey it’s a Jack In The Box. If you are not familiar with Bacliffe Texas, when you pass here this is the most active intersection in Bacliffe. When this location opened 9 years ago(Yep, I was there on opening day) it was a huge event for Bacliffe. Before it was built the land had a BMX and Mountain Biking track on it which led to some angst when JITB moved into town. Ultimately the fast food won over the citizens. :)
