Bainbridge Aquatics Center

I love this swimming pool! Besides being super clean, they have ample parking, ample lockers, clean changing rooms, free to use floaters for younger kids, ample lifeguards, but very reasonable prices. We have had several play dates here, birthday parties, and just enjoy taking the kids here for an afternoon of fun.
They have a small kiddie pool with water toys that my 18 month old loves and enjoys. They have a lazy river that my older kids love and small tide pool for small kids with a water fountain. They also have it sectioned off for those who jump off the diving board, those that rope swing, and those just wanting to swim and hangout. They also have a great water slide that goes into another pool that is generally used for lap swimming and swim practice. The facility also has a sauna and a nice hot tub.
Overall we don’t mind driving the 35 minutes it takes us to get here even though we have the new Silverdale YMCA down the road. Their prices and staff can not be beat and our overall experience continues to have us coming back.
They also have ample seating for family members who just want to watch and this cool dryer that you put your suit in, close the lid and it gets most of the water out so you can throw it in a bag without worry.

It was great to take a break from the misty drizzly day and soak in the hot tub and swim a few laps. They also have water slide, rope swing, high dive, low dive, kiddie pool and little lazy river. We tried it all out (except the kiddie pool). Only caveat is that the pool is packed w/​happy kids, so it’s hard to actually swim laps. My brother went back the next morning at 8:30 a.m. for lap time, but got there a few minutes late, and all the lanes were already taken, so be prompt.
Best part of the Aquatic Center for me was the lifeguard at the top of the slide — an older guy who always had a smile on his face, would tell the kids to «go fast,» and give them high fives. Sure enough, when it was my turn, he told me «Go fast!» — I was smiling about that all the way down.

Swimming at the Bainbridge Aquatic center is nearly a 5 star experience. I think that they need a little work to be done on the locker rooms. Sometimes the water in the showers turns cold but overall they are pretty good.
The pool itself is fabulous. Zero entry, a lazy river and a waterslide are some highlights. They are currently raising money to put in a frog slide!

I love this place.
We live just a few blocks from the Aquatic Center and recently enrolled our daughter in swim lessons. I am from CA and was worried that in WA our daughter wouldn’t get as much «swim» time due to all the rain and cold weather.
This indoor aquatic center has it all. In addition to the pools there is a lazy river, rope swing, water slide, and hot tubs. The also have an AMAZING birthday party package. My daughters birthday is in Jan and I is usually difficult to find a good warm place for the kids to have fun. Inside this center it is very warm and it makes it easy to transition from clothed to wet and almost naked :-)
One down side… the steps out front are VERY steep, be extra careful with little ones.
