My husband and I stopped in on our way to the ferry. I tried the fish tacos and he had a burrito. The greeting from staff was mechanical, there was some paper trash on the floor of our booth. The fish tacos were not good. Fish pre cooked, chewy, really bad. Could not eat it. Husbands burrito was barely lukewarm, beans were runny. Pretty terrible. On our way out(after bussing our table as requested by signage) not one word from staff although no one else was waiting for food. Don’t think it could have been worse.

La comida Mexicana por los gringos. Food was meh. Nothing special. I got a chimichanga. It had beans in it. Weird. The meat came pre portioned in a bag. It was not deep fried. I did not get any sour cream on the side. Limited lettuce and pico. I probably will never eat here again. Only did it because we were starving and missed our ferry back to Seattle.

Very expensive I was ordering two tacos and asked for sour cream on them instead of salsa and the kid started laughing and talking about me to his co workers in spanish. Then proceeded to ask me if I wanted anything spicy on it and I said no and he started laughing again. Talk about unprofessional and rude, never coming back.

If ever on death row I want the avocado salad as my last meal! I could eat it every day! Always fresh every time!

I was really disappointed after seeing 4 stars on Unilocal for this one. Food did not taste good and was cold to luke warm. If you order tacos they take the meat out of a plastic bag in a bin like they have at subway and dump it into a tortilla. As to the cost, I had enchiladas and my husband had tacos with a side of rice. $ 24 later we ended up with food that isn’t as good as taco bell. Great concept but need to work on prices, temp of food and taste of food.

Best burritos of all time. The chipotle tortillas or to die for. Best service and food on the island.

Fast, fresh and very good. Their tamales are awesome. Hope they keep them year round. I order the fish tacos without the tortillas, with just the ingredients in a bowl. The best!

One spoonful off bagged cheese, one spoonful of meat(a SPOONFUL)…= quesadilla. Small rice and beans for a kid with it…$ 11.75 !!! If you have $ to burn and want bad food try it here. Unbelievably bad. …wow.

Solid little spot — good quality, reasonable prices And friendly staff! I got Pastor tacos and added fresh avocado. Mi Madre had a chicken burrito — the house hot sauce was delicious!

I can’t recall how many lazy weekend mornings the wife and I have opted to forego making breakfast at home, instead heading here for a couple of breakfast burritos! The range on the menu is mahoosive, with a ton of variety. A lot of wide-ranging meat and fish dishes(fish tacos are phenomenal, and the tongue tacos I have yet to sample), something for the veggie, the vegan, and most menu items have the option to be gluten free(I have the breakfast burrito in a bowl — equally dribble-inducing when it arrives!) One of the best parts of CRE is the speed of delivery, you don’t often have to wait more than five minutes from walking in the door to walking out with a bagful of treats. The staff are always amicable and smiling — making this a definite Bainbridge highlight for quick, delicious, affordable Mexican grub… oh, and the Horchata is perfect to assuage a particularly stubborn hangover.

Worthy of something between 3 and 4 stars. Its nice to have a burrito place on the island. If you are used to Chipotle, you will notice there are more options when it comes to the types of tortillas. Also – the meat here always seems to have been cooked longer, and is more tender than most other places I’ve been to. Two burritos and two drinks will cost you a little over 20 bucks, so it is a bit more pricey than some other options as well. They have a nice selection of Jarritos, which are always fun to pick out. The service is very fast, and friendly. I usually come here when I need a quick meal. There is no reason to drive from out of town to come here, but its nice to have a place like this here on the island.

Mediocre at best, pricey for the quality. Have had fresher fish tacos thousands miles inland. A real disappointment.

Good food-not exceptional. I just find it WAY out of line on the pricing. The burrito I ordered was 90% rice and beans and whatever the kids had was the same. Rice and beans, basically. Then it cost me over $ 30! For 3 ‘meh’ burritos and 2 drinks. Won’t be back, I felt ripped off.

It’s great to have a place in the area for high quality takeout/quick bites. The service is great and they are always so happy! I really appreciate it. If you want a quick meal, or some great Mexican food, this place does just that.

It’s a quick place to grab a bite on Bainbridge Island. The polite staff and kid friendly environment make this resturant a nice alternative to traditional fast food. This little Mexican resturant is set up buffet style and you watch as your food is prepared. Go check it out!

Very Healthy weekly lunch choice for both me and my 5 year old. Love to get the Chipotle Salmon Quesadillas special on Thursdays. My son has good options with black beans and great rice. The kids menu is very adaptable to many different tastes. Lastly love seeing soccer always on TV!

I’ve been going here since it opened, probably once a week. For the most part, I think the food is really good and the service great, but recently, I’ve been unhappy with the service level. Last night, we went and ate in. My husband ordered a burrito(big serving, good quality, very reminiscent of the burrito places I used to go to in the bay area) and I tried to order a grilled chimichanga. I wanted spinach tortillas on both things, but the server told me that spinach tortillas are 50 cents extra on the chimichanga. Seriously, the chimichanga doesn’t have rice like the burrito, and it’s 20 cents less than the burrito, so I’d end up paying more for less food, it didn’t make sense to me at all. I was just really offended by the concept, I hate being nickled and dimed to death. And I’m double offended that that pricing wasn’t listed on the menu. Will I go back — absolutely. It’s still the easiest, fastest food on the island(besides McDonalds). But I’m not particularly happy about it. I guess I’ll just order tacos or burritos from now on.

Had their breakfast burrito with beef and chicken, and loved how the eggs were freshly cooked when I ordered. Next door at the fast sandwich chain or across the street at the burger chain, those eggs come in a pre-formed patty(and it was a bit funny when they asked me if a five minute wait was okay for them to make up the ingredients… Trust me: for this burrito, it’d be worth twice that wait!) Loved the Miguel’s Chipotle Hot Sauce, and how much burrito you get for the money. I see a return visit in the near future!
