I brought my VW Eurovan to H&O because I needed two tires, which had to be specially ordered. While on a driving trip across country, one tire went flat so we used the spare; within a day of arriving home another tire went flat. H&O let me know as soon as the tires arrived and I was on the road again the same afternoon. Good service!

This garage is close to my house, so I really wanted to like it, as it’s very convenient. But alas, my husband and I have both used it a few times for our Hondas, and after this last service, we’ll be taking our cars elsewhere.
First, we brought the cars in for an oil change about a month and a half ago, and they said everything checked out fine. I brought my car to the dealership for a warranty repair in the same week, and they said the power steering fluid needed to be flushed. Not much trusting the dealership, we brought it back to Hockett last week, only to be told that the power steering fluid did need to be flushed. I’m not car expert, but it seems like four weeks would not make the difference between fine power steering fluid and bad power steering fluid.
I also had the timing belt serviced here. The quote over the phone was $ 600, the quote when I actually brought the car in after scheduling the service was $ 900. I almost cancelled the service right there, but they added a coupon and another discount and threw in some extras, so I left the car there.
When I picked up the car, apparently the radio had been disconnected long enough to reset it, requiring the reset password. No one from the shop even mentioned that the radio had been reset, and I picked up the car from the garage and headed straight into an hour drive, with the reset password at home.
I called to complain about the whole experience, and got the «eh, sorry» response. Needless to say, we’ll be taking our cars somewhere else on the island, as super expensive plus bad service is not appealing to me.
