I worked with Jamie Jensen, the managing broker at John L Scott office on Bainbridge Island, and was wowed at her ability, knowledge and integrity. I’ve sold several of my homes through discount brokers in the past. But I have recently witnessed the value that a full service agent, such as Jamie, can bring to the table — especially when selling an older home. We got to the point where we completely turned over the whole sales process to Jamie, as she clearly knew what she was doing — for both buyer and seller. She got the job done. We are thrilled.
If I had to sell another house in Kitsap County, I would not even consider a discount broker, I would hire Jamie again without a moment’s hesitation. But Jamie is unique. If I needed to sell a house in Seattle (outside Jamie’s territory) and it was a newer home, I would consider both a full service broker and alternatives to a full service broker.
