These guys are the definition of above and beyond exemplary customer service and quality. In one of the more distressing times of my life, they have helped me out in more ways than imagined. I always bring my cars to Modern Collision Rebuild and Service. They are quick, make sure that you stay informed, and do great work. I recently took my SUV in after the check engine light came on. A rodent had got into the engine and chewed through some wires. They were able to get the part in that week and get me back on my way. Their shuttle van makes it easy to drop my car in when its convenient for me.

Love this place and the family that runs it. It costs a little more than other places, but they are ethical and that’s worth a lot. Plus they are very conscientious about recycling fluids etc… also important to me. They don’t just do body work (we’ve never had them do that sort of thing); they also do general car repair and maintenence. We love ‘em.

I now take all my cars to modern collision. The price is fair for excellent service, and the problem really gets fixed rather than half done as you might get with a cheaper quote. They are usually done when they say, perhaps slide by a day or two on the whole. And i appreciate their recommendations on the right way to do things.

Our front axle was clicking, so I surveyed 5 friends on the Island and heard mixed reviews of several auto repair shops. Modern Collision came the most recommended and so I tried it out. I had a great experience there. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and I had my axle repaired the same day for a reasonable price. I plan to take both of our family cars here going forward as needed.

I’ve taken my old car into these guys a couple of times when various things have broken or stopped working properly and they’ve always given me incredible service at a fair price. Today I took my car in to see if the alternator was working. They squeezed me into their very tight schedule and within 15 minutes had tested my equipment and verified it was working fine.
Cost of parts = $ 0
Cost of labor = …wait for it… wait for it… $ 0!
That’s right, they didn’t charge me a thing. This is the only place I’ll take my car for service or body work.

Modern returned my car to its original condition after a meeting with a fire hydrant. They have always been straightforward and honest with me. As a bonus, they are an environmentally friendly shop.
