These guys are great. I disagree completely with the other reviews. I’m a DIY girl and I love going there. It’s on Bainbridge and has all the basics. When you are in the middle of tiling a floor and run out of thin-set it’s such a pain to go all the way to Poulsbo. Professional contractor types do frequent often, but on one occasion a fellow customer solved my floating vanity problem. It was great!

Totally agree with the previous review – I suspect they don’t have good management, and it was no better when they were Lumberman’s. It’s in the name, isn’t it?.. Makes you think about another profession that takes your money and has the same first three letters! Maybe somebody should take them on a field trip to. Dunn Lumber, see how the grown-ups do it! Okay, enough already… come on, Probuild, let’s remember that the«Pro» part presumably stands for«Professional»! Phew!!!

Bad attitude. Bad service. OK product. OK pricing. Very disappointing again and again and again. Every time I go in there, which is relatively often since I’m working on projects around my house a lot, I am made to feel like I’m interrupting them. I’m a do it your selfer and an ignorant one at that. If they don’t like me coming in, they should just put a sign out that says, «Experienced contractor types only». On my last trip, I bought 30 feet of mechanics cloth or whatever it’s called. They only had 26 feet as it turned out. When I asked for a $ 4 refund, they wanted me to give them my address and a bunch of other crap. I just wanted them to put a quick credit back on the card I’d just used to pay for the stuff. This on top of the fact that when I looked for someone to help me I had to hike all over trying to find someone. Of course, they were chewing the fat in the shed outside and did not stop talking when I approached or even after I entered, or even after I asked for help! The pain is all the more sharpened by the incredibly helpful and friendly guys across the street at ACE. I would absolutely stop shopping here if it wasn’t for the fact that the next closest store with lumber is a long distance away.
