I have made some great finds at this place. I also understand it is under new management now and it shows! The clothes are of a much higher quality than before and the new owners are weeding out the non designer stuff. There are also sales and discounts and red tag specials with 50% off that will make any bargain hunter looking for quality smile. Best of all, the lady at the front desk was a sweetheart who cared that we were finding what we were looking for. My daughter and I left there feeling very accomplished.

Tell any one of the fine ladies there (best service on island — without question) what your budget is, and they will set you up with the perfect gift for your wife, wrap it up for you, and send you on your merry way with a smile and time left over to pop across the street to Casa Rojas to watch the rest of the game…

Every time I enter this local consignment shop – full of gorgeous new and vintage clothes for women – I feel I’ve died and gone to heaven. The owners/​buyers Susan and Deborah are beautiful people inside and out and, most important… they’ve got GREAT TASTE in designer clothing 70% off the original price. It makes sense that they are located on MADISON AVE (of Bainbridge) because they’re on top of trends and tasteful classics. What’s great is I can walk there from the ferry in five-​to-​ten minutes OR drop in before or after visiting my Bainbridge Island family. I’m so glad they’re here and hope they are here to stay!

I love the Silver Star trading post. I have had very positive experiences with the staff there, excellent customer service and success in consigning several articles of clothing including some pieces that did not sell at a small Seattle consignment shop.
It’s been great to get checks in the mail as pieces sold over a few months, and I’m excited to be bringing in a new bunch of items this New Year.
The staff are so friendly that when I had a sore shoulder they recommended a great doctor. And when I was auditioning for a part in a local play they really took time to help me find a useable piece to audition in.
Great service, friendly, experienced, and relaxed.
