It pains me to remove one star. The staff, in particular John and Yolanda, are absolutely amazing and epitomize what great servers should be. But the last couple times I have been, I have felt the quality of food slipping. The first time I went, the food blew me away. I have ordered the same dish both times since then and there seem to be a few shortcuts that the kitchen took to get food out faster or easier. It makes a big difference. They also haven’t changed their menu in a really long time.

WOW. Great food an excellent service. We had the clam linguini and steak and they were both outstanding. Great to have something of this quality on Bainbridge.

I am STUNNED that this place isn’t packed every night. The food is the fanciest I’ve ever seen on Bainbridge, the price is too low for what you’re getting, the ambiance is amazing complete with heated outdoor seating with a view, and the service has always been great. The food as well as the drinks are always excellent. I’ve been here three times and look forward to going back.

The atmosphere and ambience is superb, an excellent place for date night. The food was also great the scallops were amazing cooked to perfection I highly recommend them we also ordered the clams and muscles and filet both were also cooked well. We were hesitant to go at first due to some of the previous reviews but the service was great. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Everyone was very attentive my only complaint would be that they were almost over attentive we didn’t feel rushed but had anticipated a longer visit. Overall we had a wonderful evening and would go back if we are in the area again.

We all had a wonderful time and delicious dinner. We sat outside on the patio with a water view and gorgeous flowers everywhere… must have flower elves 24⁄7 tending the immaculate landscaping! We started with the Smelts, Spot Prawns and Chicken Liver Pâté… all well prepared and flavorful. Two of us had the flat iron steak which was tender and good. The hit of the evening was both the Salmon and the Salad Nicoise… the Salad Nicoise could become my summer favorite dish! Fresh veggies with a very generous portion of seared Tuna… perfection. The drinks were excellent as was the service. Yolanda was attentive, friendly and had great suggestions. She mentioned a Spanish Wine dinner that is coming up in August… have to attend as it sounds very interesting. Anna is also a welcome addition to Manor House… she helped Yolanda make sure we were all very well taken care of. Anna has been our server at The Beach House Bar next door… she is a delight! And Shannon makes the best cocktails on the island! I prefer less sweet and she gets it right every time. We all left feeling that there is now an excellent restaurant on Bainbridge…

I couldn’t find the«zero stars» button. Beyond awful to pathetic. It was nearly empty despite the Father’s Day promotion(first clue). Two hours into it we gave up, offered to pay for what we had consumed so far since it had been going on 90 minutes since we ordered our entrees. The server did stop by every half hour or so. They did not charge us for what we had, and even offered a gift certificate for«next time» but there won’t be a next time because they clearly will not be in business much longer.

It is the new Beach House restaurant expansion Amazing location beautiful setting staff is great bartender guy is not so great Food is either sweet or heavy lacking vegetarian options Manager Ben is wonderful Shannon is by far the best bartender we have seen her there Tuesday nights Prices are steep

I am giving this venue four stars because I was only there to attend an event and have not produced one there. The staff were friendly, the food was good and the overall setup is great for a variety of event types. I think one thing that they should work to improve on is the overall cleanliness, unfortunately we were there at sunset and the harsh sun at a 90º showed every bit of dust, cob webs and such on the inside. A good dusting does wonders! I also think, for a very large event, parking would become a big problem here. If you are planning an event, perhaps bussing from another larger location would be best as you can certainly turn around but space is limited! Certainly a place I would recommend if you are hosting an event. A nice older home that has been transformed! Great views and overall appearance.
