Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bainbridge

Marvelous hotel! Check in was quick and easy – Chris was really helpful, although the business center printer didn’t work. I was able to work around this issue though. The hotel is very clean and looks fairly new.
I had originally reserved a room with two queen beds, but since my room key was not working Chris upgraded me to a very roomy suite! Amazing!!! The room was spectacular and I had a very restful night’s sleep… what great customer service.
The next morning Elizabeth had replaced Chris and she was just as friendly. I used the Fitness Room and she pointed me in the right direction, with some helpful tidbits.
The complimentary breakfast looked great, although I didn’t partake. Note: Do not place your hotel room key next to your cell phone. It causes the room key to lose information and no longer work. I had to get my room card rekeyed at least 3 times.
I would definitely recommend and return to this hotel!!! I was impressed!

This Holiday Inn Express looked somewhat new from the exterior. The parking lot was small so it could be full if there’s a lot staying. The lobby was bright and looked clean. The eating area looked good from what I saw. It was a little small but better than nothing. They served complimentary breakfast from 6am to 9:30am (I think) and the food was nothing bad. It definitely got the job done for me.
The room I stayed in was on the third floor. There was only one extremely slow elevator so that was pretty much what would be stuck with if you didn’t take the stairs. My room had two queen beds, a flat screen TV and a refrigerator. Everything else was just okay and the bathroom was a little dirty (mildew on the corner of the tiles in the tub). I’m not sure if they just didn’t have time to clean that, but I would think that’s something that was cleaned up. Oh well.
Overall, the hotel was not bad and for what it was, it was okay to stay in. There’s not a lot of selection in the area in terms of hotels.

I made sure it had HBO before I checked in. Turns out the sound doesn’t work on that channel and they have known about it «for weeks» per front desk but haven’t fixed. Room smells like paint as well.

Great hotel. Very accommodating. Beds are comfy, the rooms are quiet. The suites are nice, it’s nice to have the extra space.

Good hotel and the staff was more than accommodating to our group of 20 bicyclists.
However, I have to admit when the front desk informed a couple of us the hot-​tub wasn’t working I was rather disappointed. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal but after biking all day it certainly let some air out of my ballon.
Another downer was finding out there’s no hotel shuttle. That left us with a couple of options for dinning out. Place everyone in chase vehicle that smelled like BO, lol… or go to the one restaurant within walking distance.
Still that’s more our problem than the hotels. bottom-​line is that it’s well located, the rooms are good sized with comfortable beds and the breakfast is the typically good continental bfast you’ll find at all Holiday Inn Express. Overall I give it 3.5 Stars but round down to A-​OK due to pool and hot-​tub being down and my not receiving the wake up call I requested.

Really good room with plenty of elec outlets for ‘the stuff’ we ‘need’ to pack about. Nice lobby for all pax and crew needs. Close to eateries and airport.
