BSR auto repair

I had a problem with my 2009 Audi A4 and I took it to two different certified Audi VW shops and they both could not figure out the problem. One of the shops tried to fool me to pay $ 520 by replacing the fuel sensor, but I did not pay anything. I took it to Audi Bakersfield and unfortunately they kept the car for two days and could not find the problem either. I found BSR online and told myself, let me give it a try. Taht’s when I met Alex and Augustine. Alex was responsible to fix my car and he told me from the beginning that he will find the problem, which must be an electrical issue. Finally Alex gave me a call that the cluster needs to be replaced and reprogrammed. He replaced the cluster and made sure everything was alright and he called twice after i took the car to make sure if everything is alright. After this experience, this is the only shop I trust in Bakersfield. Overwhelming, helpful and experts.

Augustine did it again! Excellent service and professional attitude. We might have just found our mechanic for our cars!
I was having a small issue with my original fix and he helped me out quick and fast. I though it might be an all day thing. He even went out of his way to help out with my husband’s key locks for free. Professional advice was helpful for future car care.

It is tough finding a good mechanic, and I thought I did when I started going to BSR a few years back. When I took my car in because it was running rough at idle and had a slight hesitation when I took off from a stop, (I told him that I thought it was the throttle body). After he did his evaluation of my car he gave me a call and said I needed a tune-​up. After paying the money for the tune-​up I got in the car and start down the road. The next day I went back and told him that my car was still running rough and again I told him I thought it was the throttle body, he said he felt the throttle body was to expense so he did the tune-​up. He did show me some spark plugs and now that I think about it, if those plugs were in my car I think my car would have stalled when I came to a stop. I took my care to ford and problem solved. It is not just this time, I did notice other things that he replaced that went bad after a year that should not have gone bad.

Ive literally had the BEST experience at this shop. Agustin is an awesome man. You’re going to pay for quality work. Ive had several issues with my old 2003 Honda accord and they have all been resolved beautifully. I also dont feel like they’re taking advantage of me because im mechanic-​illiterate. He explains then problem, simplifies it for me and gets right to point. I literally have NO problem with the shop, the service, and especially the workers. They are very polite and its satisfying to witness genuine work ethic instilled in human beings.

Absolutely horrible. Took my saturn in for a new computer and reset timing. After three months they told me they were unable to fix it. Called to have a tow truck come and take it to the dealership and was told that it was done. Original quote was $ 400 when I picked up they handed me a bill for $ 877.50. When I picked my car up my head gasket was blown. They had destroyed my brand new catalytic converter and stolen my rear breaks and interior door handles. And I took my car to them with 112 thousand miles but when I picked it uo the odometer said 121 thousand. They ignored all my calls, and when I go to the shop they always claim the owner is not there. So much for my 120 day labor warranty. Worst experience with any mechanic. Highly recommend everyone stay away from them. Am currently in process of suing.

Love BSR!!! New location is much bigger and has a nice waiting room. Review from other person on here with the one star is not true. Read the reviews from the other location. Anyhow, Agustin can be trusted 100%. Hubby is a picky person and is so happy with his recent work. Had our car there for a major tune-​up for a few hours and feels brand new again. Agustin has extensive electrical knowledge and the right tools and doesn’t do Mickey Mouse jobs. Always the best oem/​dealer parts so they don’t fail. Good mechanics want to put good stuff in your car so you aren’t back there all the time. Bad ones charge you for crappy parts and see you more often. He has 2 beautiful daughters defending our country in the military and is an honest man. A couple of years ago, I went somewhere else in town because the company that sold me the ac compressor said they would only guarantee it if installed by a mechanic on their list and that other mechanic ruined my car and all the great work Agustin put into it. I will never go anywhere else again.
