The selection is pretty good, but the customer service couldn’t get any worse. The woman behind the counter couldn’t be more bothered by our questions, let alone our presence. She barely looked away from her computer or her telephone while we were at the counter. Decided not to give them our business buying our fishing licenses because of the service.

The guys over at Copes are very helpful. I had them overhaul a blown Newell and they did a great job beefing it up. They have a decent rod selection but not a big variety of different style rods, mostly common sizes you’d find everywhere else around here but the models are super clean. Their tackle is great, and so is the bait. The crew over at Copes are very friendly and knowledgeable, way nicer and more helpful than the old crusty pirates over at Bob’s. Go there for the good service, the decent selection, or talk story they’ll always have a friendly person there to get you hooked up. After I have them wrap me a couple of rods I’ll update this review.

Cope’s Tackle & Rod got me set up to backcountry fish in the Eastern Sierra’s. Very friendly to new fisherman and very knowledgable. They gave me a prefect setup to have a great time. Store is clean and lots of product. If you fish or want to get into fishing this is the place to go.

Walking in is very casual, they do not come up immediately and try to sell you stuff. They are great if you have questions, they are very knowledgeable. I especially like that they dont make you feel like and idiot if your new to fishing. Store is super clean, and has a cool fish tank, with huge Bass in it, and other fish. A lot of selections, and good pricing. Live bate is super fresh which was a nice change. They have boats for sale out front but I didnt take a look, but they look very nice from afar. If your a fisherman or want to get into it, I would highly recommend stopping by.
