At first the Culligan experience was great. The salesman was professional and informative. Installation went smooth and we had soft water. We liked it so much my wife and I both regularly recommended Culligan to our friends and family. I even told customers about it when I was out in the field as a outside sales person in Kern, SLO and Santa Barbara Counties. I recently was asked to move for work and called culligan about stopping service. They said I would be charged $ 200 for this. The people I sold my house to were interested in taking over lease for the tanks and equipment but Culligan said there would still be a $ 200 charge and the people taking it over would have to pay to start a new lease. Needless to say, after paying on time every month and all the positive feedback I have given, I will no longer use Culligan. I just moved to a new house and wont bother calling and setting up service. I feel un-valued as a loyal customer. Culligan lost at least 2 customers from this because the people who purchased my old house weren’t impressed how they handled this either.

Recently signed up for their tank exchange service. They even come out as far as Keene, which was a bit of a surprise. Both the sales and install service personnel were professional and helpful. My service is now up and running and I’m very happy with the soft water I’m now receiving.
