Unilocal wants me to share why I kept coming back. I kept coming back because I was staying a block away from this store. It’s not that I loved it, it was just more convenient. It was walking distance so I decided to check it out. They have a lot of merchandise and most of the items are not even close to a dollar. The store is pretty big and they have all kinds of products. The first time I came here there was hardly any people inside. There was one cashier at the register. I came to look around and ended buying a huge coloring book for $ 3. The cashier was very nice and assisted right away. The second time I came it was packed. There was a long line and there was still only one cashier at the cash register. People were complaining, but that didn’t make the line go any faster. They have a big parking lot for themselves and I see most people come walking. There are small green shopping carts outside, but people usually just come for a few things. My cousin-in-law only comes when she really needs something right away. For Example, toilet paper. She doesn’t really like the store. I thought it wasn’t too bad. They did have some merchandise at good prices, but a few items were overpriced. I think it’s just okay.

I usually go in here when I am in a hurry and need something that I don’t want to go into a crowded store for. Went in today and had to pee soooooooooo bad. Saw a door that said«women», so tried to open and the door was locked. Saw a manager nearby and asked if he would open the door so I could use the restroom and he said No. «We don’t have a public restroom. OMG. I had to fly through the store to grab what I wanted, no time for browsing like I usually do. Get to the checkout line and I had to wait forever because there was only one register open and the cashier was off somewhere checking a price(mind you, there were about 5 other employees in the store doing other things that were more important than helping customers). The whole time I am doing the bladder two step dance praying they hurry. Then I saw the chocolate truffles. 3 for a dollar. So I grab six. When it was my turn, the cashier had trouble scanning the truffles… finally got one to scan. Then he tried scanning the next one… and it wouldn’t freaking scan. I said, well why don’t you scan the first one six times? They are all exactly the same. He said Ï can’t, I’m not allowed to do that»…what??? I told him, scan it six times, I have to pee. Or you will be mopping soon. So he did. I get the impression that the employees are terrorized by these strangely anti-customer managers and it totally affects their customer service. I mean really, are you afraid your PAYINGCUSTOMERS are going to steal the lid off your toilet bowl? For Christ’s sake… I know the store is in a not so nice part of town, but there are decent hard-working customers that shop here and make your paychecks possible. Treat us like humans!!!
