Dr John Lindquist

I have been going to Dr Lindquist for over 15 years. This last year the staff has fully changed and don’t know if it’s because of the younger employees but the attitude there I am not liking it. Very rude and the customer is all ways incorrect. Will be giving them one more chance on my next visit.

Dr. Lindquist was very friendly and informative. I had planned to get contacts, but after he examined me, he suggested eyeglasses because I have dry eyes and contacts could irritate my eyes more. Everyone knows contacts are more expensive and instead of squeezing that money out of me, he did the opposite. Even his staff was very helpful. The woman who helped me did not pressure me at ALL to add upgrades like an AR coat or tints. Because I will only use my glasses for driving (max 2 hours a day), she told me all of those upgrades were pointless. They have a huge selection of glasses also! Gucci, Guess, Dior, Juicy Couture, Ray Bans. Very friendly staff and truly wants what’s best for you.

I’ve been coming here for years. There seems to be a high turn over with doctors here. Other staff seems to be more consistent. Most of the staff is pretty friendly and helpful. I was treated pretty rudely a few times by the optical manager. Dr. Lindquist is friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t like the inconsistency with service provided during my exam. Part of the exam includes dilating your eyes, but the have only done this once for me. It is covered by my insurance. Instead they want me to do this digital read of my eyes that is not covered at all by insurance. I felt rushed last time and had to come in another day to get dilated. I work and had to take time off.
Glasses and lenses only come with a one year guarantee. UV and scratch protection are extra. Frames are more expensive here than going to a boutique for the same designer glasses. Upon a recommendation from a coworker I am gonna try Premier Optical in Rosedale where they advertise a two year warranty and cheaper designer frames.

Probably a little biased because I worked here for over a year, but Dr. Lindquist is not only one of the best optometrists in town, he is one of the kindest men you will ever meet. His exams are thorough and precise.
The staff at Stockdale Optometry mirror his kindness. Prices are very competitive. They stand by their products and provide excellent service to ensure patients are happy with their glasses and contacts.
He accepts almost all insurances and his prices for cash paying patients are very fair, they have their own lab on site so if you’re purchasing single vision lenses they are reletively in expensive AND come with a warranty.
His selection of eyewear is extensive, they just remodeled their office and it’s beautiful. From inexpensive insurance covered frames to high end, they have something for everyone.
