Thank God for JVS. I was driving down from San Jose, got to Stockdale Hwy. and my car started acting funny. My tow truck driver, Phil who was awesome also, took me here. It was late on a Friday so they drove me my son’s and opened on their normally closed Saturday to fix my car! The problem was actually the fault of the last mechanic who worked on my car. He’ll be hearing from me tomorrow! Angelo charged me minimally and didn’t try to take advantage of the fact that I was from out of town and frantic! Thank you thank you JVS!

Honest guy, take my Mitsubishi eclipse there all the time for a fix, have it back quick and working. Works with you on price and time, seems trustworthy to me, never try’s to over sell things for you car, only uses best parts he can find. Price isn’t the cheapest but it’s hard to find good mechanics who take time to talk to you and show you the issue your having.

My minivans alternator went out driving over the Grapevine. I happened to be towed to JVS on the recommendation of Payless Towing since I’m from out of town. Angelo and his team were basically done for the day when we arrived at the shop with a second car that also broke down near ours. But, it was New Years Eve and we had an 8 hour drive home… so Angelo stayed and fixed our car. He got the parts and got us back on the road in a few hours. And the other car with a blown fuel pump? Those people were going from Oregon heading to Arizona with an infant and Angelo stayed and helped them too. What incredible service. We would have been stranded for two days without the help of Angelo and his team making us a priority over his other work and staying late for our repair. Thank you for helping our family! Oh and the minivan is working great again! You really don’t find repair shops like this everywhere. The price was reasonable and again the service was remarkable. Bakersfield is lucky to have a mechanic like this. I just wish JVS was in my town so I could go back!

I had my water pump and trimming belt replaced here and they bent the main crank shaft pulley in two places and cracked the water pump cover in two spots, it’s a miracle that it doesn’t leak. I had to replace one of the new belts after 3k miles and do my best to straighten the pulley with a crescent wrench after spotting the damage. If I weren’t across the country I would take it back. Extremely Lame !!! Stay away

Jvs did a great job with my subaru head gaskets. Reasonable prices and good customer service. My step daughter’s car now needs a major overhaul and we are going back again after our positive experience.
