What a place! The non-​profit store raises money to help you take care of your pets by giving out vouchers to aid in the cost of spaying and neutering those wonderful four legged friends. On the first Saturday off every month from 9:30 — 2:30 these vouchers are given free of charge to residents of lager county.
They rely solely on donations to keep their inventory flowing. So don’t forget to donate when you’re creating space in your home or garage.
Every time I go into this store there is something new (well old, but new to me).
The front of the store is mostly consumed by clothing. Some of which is higher priced (and when I say higher priced I’m talking 2.00−5.00), than their standard price of 1.00. Um yes, that’s correct, $ 1.00! Jeans, 1.00, blouses, 1.00, sweater, 1.00 and so on and so on. Oh but wait, they usually have a sale posted which changes daily and many times that dollar goes to .50! Yippie!
There is a glass case which contains jewelry and some collector items that are always of interest.
The remainder of the front potion of the store contains: bedding, framed art, crafting items, holiday items, dvd’s, cd’s and many wonderful treasures for your home or garden.
Now step into the back where all of the children’s clothing is priced to sell at only .25 for each piece! More than affordable!
The back is also home to a kitchen ware and small appliance section, a very organized library, books are .50−1.00, inlets they are on sale for half price!
There is glass ware, light fixtures, games, puzzles, supporting goods and some furniture pieces.
The staff of volunteers are very friendly always ready to help.
