Michael Flooring

My husband and I Recently had Michael Flooring install exotic wood flooring in our new home. The floors are gorgious espessially the stairs. Just before Christmas our movers gauged our new floor and destroyed two stairs. I called the owner, Benny and he actually repaired our floors Christmas morning free of charge. All he said was merry Christmas. If your looking for flooring try Michael Flooring they will go the extra mile true professionals.

I had a little bit a problem and Benny the owner came out looked at everything and fixed all the problems that is great customer service if there is more than five stars I give it to them there’s no problem he has great deals and I would be back for more

My husband and I are so happy with our experience at Michael Flooring! We highly recommend them for the excellent price, selection & customer service! After first being terribly disappointed at the bigger chains for carpet quotes, we came to Michael Flooring. From the first moment we walked in, Susie helped us explore the many different options for carpeting our home. She offered samples to bring home & scheduled our home to be measured right away at no charge. (Home Depot charges $ 50) Once we made our carpet selection, Susie even went back & got us better pricing & offered promotions for the installation fee & the financing. She was in contact via email & phone for all our questions & anything we needed she responded promptly. The installation was amazing! Our installer arrived right on time. He was professional, polite & courteous and worked very hard all day until the entire house was done. Our home looks beautiful & we couldn’t be happier :)

Not recommended and we should have read reviews before we came in here. Customer service started out ok with the in-​coming greeting but it ended there. It took awhile to have someone help us. Staff were eating at the front as customers are standing around patiently waiting to be helped. At least eat in the office or something? We finally found something that could work for our bathroom floors, 2 sets of tile floors. Not major jobs, but not small jobs either. We made it clear that if we were happy, we would be coming back to purchase their granite for the bathroom counter tops also. We set a date for the tile installer to come and measure for the bid. He was an hour late for the appointment, it happens. But now it has been almost a month and no one has called us back as promised to give us the job quotes from the office. Everything experienced with this business does not give us confidence that the job will get done, or done correctly. I guess they do not need new business. A wasted few hours.

My wife and I hired Michael Flooring to replace the flooring in our vacant rental home.

Went in looking for tile for kitchen countertops. Was welcomed by a salesman (Rolando) he check in on us but didn’t bother. He was able to order what we need quickly. Picked up the tile all was good no cracks. Would definitely shop there again.

Michael Flooring, while being a very nice store, lacks what it takes to be a GREAT store. The location is good, but the store itself is lifeless. The staff, while friendly, seem very uninformed about the products they carry.
This was very disappointing to me because on my last remodel project, in November 2010, I used Michael Flooring to re-​do my Master Bath. That experience was terrific. At the time there was two older gentlemen there that knew the product inside and out. When we had installation questions, a salesman, I believe his name was Don or Ron, actually came to our home after work to make sure things were being done correctly.
The new people tend to be clueless. I will not waste any more time there. In my opinion, the owner should do whatever it takes to find his former crew and REHIRE them.

After comparing prices around town Michael Flooring was the best priced with great quality. Customer service was great. The only complaint I have is that they ordered the wrong tile. I’m glad that our tile guy wasn’t coming in for a week or else we would have been a bigger problem… the least they could have done was free delivery, but no.

Horrible Install, Wrong Carpet Pad
Oh where to start… I used Michael Flooring because they promised me everything I wanted in our new house. I had them install new carpet and hardwood floor throughout the house. If you do decided to use them after reading this then you are really going to want to watch them.
1. First the carpet. The owner of the company sold me on a 10lb pad due to the soft feeling when you walk on it. «Great» I said let’s do it. Well I stopped by during the install of the carpet and noticed clearly marked on the pad was 8lb. I was p@!%!d! There wasn’t much of a price difference in the total cost but it is what I wanted and was sold on. Had I not been there to watch them I would have been scammed and never knew it. The owner wasn’t very helpful at all. All he said was sorry all we can do is charge you for the 8lb pad. I had to move in the next day mind you.
2. Then the hardwood floor. There were 8 separate times they came back to try and correct my hard wood installation. I was originally going to install it myself, but after learning that the floor wasn’t level I decided to leave it to the [sic] professionals. Well after telling them it wasn’t level they said «oh it will be just fine, the glue will fill it in» I wasn’t one to argue as long as it went as planned. Well it didn’t fill it in, the floor started coming up. They came back several times to squirt glue under the floor with a needle which made the floor rise; when that didn’t work they ripped it out and reinstalled it. Still the same thing! This time I told the owner he needed to have another installed come out. Well what did he do? He leveled the floor! After telling me it would be done for my New Year’s party it wasn’t. I had no kitchen and 15 people at my house. This installed was worse than the first. He didn’t know the wood needed to be acclimated inside the house, so that added a day.
It was just one thing after another with this company, and in the end it was a very very unpleasant experience. The owner of the company didn’t seem like he knew how to conduct business on a sensible level and was without reason. What a way to come into home ownership.

There was one employee when we came in and he was super friendly, but not pushy. He gave us our space, but checked in on us. We were here for a while as they have a large selection of tiles. We are looking to redo our master shower. The employee, I forget his name, would check in with us and helped us out. Would definitely return here.
