Parkside Apartments

I absolutely loved these apartments. I lived here for about 5 months and never came across any problems. Staff and maintenance were always friendly, neighbors were very nice and courteous, apartments were very simple yet cheap ($ 675 for a ¹⁄₁) and they had walk in closets! The landlord even allowed me to make payments for a pet deposit bc I was having a rough transition. The only complaint I had was the dog poop around the complex… But I don’t want to decrease stars bc I don’t feel it has anything to do with the staff itself, just the lazy people who can’t pick up after their pets. There is a park and school nearby which I found convenient (having 2 dogs myself). Lastly, I got almost all of my deposit back and I am very grateful for that!

Trashy apartment complex, with a lot of rude renters, they changed ownership a couple of years ago and the place deteriorated. For example they allowed pets in the complex, so know there’s dog crap all over the grass areas and no one cleans it. The managment changes often (i wonder why) and they stopped doing background checks on the prospective residents, so it quickly got packed with all sorts of people. Also they changed their exteriors uniformity policy, so know it the patios look like the oildale of the sw side of town
