I am currently finishing up a move that required two PODS and am very disappointed with the service they have provided. At first I was looking forward to the convenience of loading and unloading at my leisure but that has since faded. They provide a three hour window in which the units will be dropped off and picked up, which I completely understand because problems do arise and three hours is a fair amount of time to account for those problems. They first missed my initial drop off period for one of the pods by hours and I needed those additional hours in order to get everything loaded and ready to be transported. They actually moved them in a timely fashion which was nice. Yesterday they were scheduled for final pickup between 7:30AM and 1PM, so I scheduled some movers to drop some of my final things off and I also needed to haul some things away from the new house and needed access to my driveway which was loaded up with a pod. I scheduled that at 6:00PM thinking that the pods would have been gone for hours but on my way home I received a call from the movers saying that they couldn’t access the driveway because the pod was still there. I raced home and to my surprise both were there. I called the 800 number because there is no local number to call the Bakersfield location and get answers from the source. After 15 minutes on hold I got to speak with a customer service representative who then had to call the location manager directly to ask what had happened. He told her that they were down a driver and their computer system was down all day. I had no notice that there were issues and the first I heard that the units weren’t picked up was from the movers who I was paying to assist me after giving pods more than a fair amount of time to do their job. Instead of having everything at my house, it is sitting on a movers truck wasting their time and my money. All of this could have been avoided had I received some sort of notice but now I’m sitting here wondering if they are still sitting at my house or if those eyesores are sitting and waiting at home for me. They are supposed to convenient, but I would have to strongly disagree and have not, nor will I ever recommend their use to anyone except maybe my worst enemy.

I as well as family, coworkers, and friends have used PODS for either storage or moving and would use again, no questions asked. The manager and employees were always helpful, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Keep up the GREAT work!!! A+

We used PODS to move from our apartment to our new home. PODS made the move quick and easy! The manager, Brett, was very friendly.
