First time here at this place, it had some pretty good reviews so we decided to check it out. We were happy we did; Relaxful atmosphere, friendly service, good phở. Definitely go back again and try out some of their other soups

Phở Sho!!! Bomb, delicious, must get :). Can’t wait to come back and try the Ugleena. Also the egg rolls are hand rolled which I very much loved. Will I be back again? Of course! Come check out this hidden gem ;)

Another play on word phở place… phở sure My husband order the phoking large ~$ 10 Good quality and portion of tendon, tripe and rare steak, but NO Brisket. Noodle is slightly overcooked, broth is mediocre…3 stars I ordered the sukiyaki large ~$ 11 Glass noodles, very long… could have trimmed in half… sauce taste like sa cha Chinese dipping sauce for BBQ meats, slightly sweet, again a good portion of rare steak…3 stars Service is friendly (Written by my husband)

Today was my second time going in for some phở the first time I went it was good and had planned on returning. But Today i went in for some phở since I am sick and was craving some, I place and order to go #4 to be exact and also order some spring rolls… The peanut butter sauce was horrible it was really hard. As I got home savoring my phở It wasn’t what I expected the chicken was really gross it had a very dark brown/black color it seemed like it had been there for days and the noodles had a weird taste. Even my boyfriend who loves phở and can eat anything, didn’t even want to finish it, he only tasted it and said it wasn’t good.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Worst phở ever!!! Tiny portions. No flavor. Shrimp in spring rolls was raw, and they did nothing about it when I pointed it out.

It was a Monday night and I thought I would drag my husband over to try their phở. We started with hot tea, and spring rolls which we both liked. We both also had the small Sukiyaki. We both thought the broth lacked flavor even with the addition of chili oil and sirracha. This is the second phở restaurant I have tried and I have to admit that I am not really a fan of phở. I doubt I will go back.

Went there with the family the other night and I got the Banner, which gives you 4 choices of their noodle soup. I got the Phở Sho, Ugleena, Kow Piak Sen and Sukiyaki. My favorite of the two was Phở Sho and Sukiyaki(which was pretty awesome), We also got the rice plate for my little one, wow, that totally reminded me of home when I was younger. The staff was super nice and accommodating to a lot of our request.

Ever since I came here for the first time I have been hooked. This will always be my number one spot to go to for soups and egg rolls. Everything on the menu is awesome but my favorite is #6… . Highly recommended to come by and give them a try.

For a lot of folks, including myself, I thought soup sitty was a Vietnamese restaurant, but it isn’t. The cuisine is southeast asian… from Laos… which is nearly identical to Vietnam. The spring rolls were OK(picture). The dipping sauce is peanut butter… not Hoisin sauce. The actual wrapping was extremely tough and chewy. The broth in all the soups were not the typical Vietnamese broth… their soups were brandish. The one positive were the owners. The guy explained the cuisine which was awesome. Friendly staff. So again… not a Vietnamese noodle shop but something similar and good.

For all the phở places I have been to so far, Soup Sitty is not bad at all! The place wasn’t too full when my friends and I came at 5:30ish, so finding a table for 7 was not bad at all. The restaurant was neat, and had both booth, table, and bar seating, which was neat. I feel like there was a little bit of an identity crisis with the taste of the interior since it could go either as homey or as chic with the cute wall deco vs the sleek black bar, but that is just a small opinion and did not go into my rating rationale. Our server was very helpful and patient with us while we wondered what to eat, and even asked if we were to get separate checks(which was yes for us.). No restaurant has EVER done that for me when I eat with friends, so it was really refreshing to have a server with such considerate foresight! NOWTOTHEMOSTIMPORTANTPART! THEFOOD! I got a Thai tea, and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. When our food came, I also got to try the Sukiyaki Soup– aka raw egg soup! — The Thai tea was excellent in my opinion. There was a strong tea flavor, and I LOVED how it came to the table all separated– it had this aesthetically pleasing ombré effect. If you come, you should definitely get this. — The Shrimp Spring Rolls are actually PRETTY decent! There is room for improvement though. I would have liked for the skin of the spring roll to be more pliable(its rice paper, so perhaps more time soaking would have been good?). Other than that, it is served with a great peanut sauce– it was thick, sticky, peanutty, and had a slight aroma of coconut milk. Try it with chili paste! — I tasted a little bit of the Sukiyaki Soup, which is served with rare steak and raw egg, which is cooked in the hot broth. I was expecting the broth to be very rich, especially after popping the raw egg and mixing the yolk with the broth, but it was still retained a light, rather refreshing taste. Maybe it was due to the lime too. I’ll have to order that the next time I visit. ;D All in all, on a cold Bakersfield night– I could see myself grabbing a few friends and coming to Soup Sitty again. Though its a rather new business, I see a lot of potential in it! Definitely swing by if you are in the area and want try some phở-king souper stuff: D

Tonight was my second time visiting, but this time with a group of friends, and we had no problem finding room to seat everyone. My boyfriend and I arrived late but was quickly greeted by our waiter who took our drink order. A small hiccup happened when my water came with too much ice when I had requested light ice– no biggie. My boyfriend, on the other hand, ordered some Thai tea after eyeing a couple of my friends’ glasses and it tasted delicious! I really liked the way it was served to aesthetically show the layers and how it tasted rich with just enough sweetness to not overpower the actual tea. Our only regret was not having it with Boba(tapioca balls); however, there’s always next time! Next came our food! The side of bean sprouts, jalapeño, mint, and lime were served first per table, rather than per person like other places, but it turned out ok as my friends weren’t as much of a fan to pile everything into their soup like my boyfriend and I– more for us! I ordered their #2 Wat Da Phở that included: Rare steak, beef flank, and beef meatballs. Oh, may I just add that the waiter was super awesome to allow me to subsitute the Beef Meatballs with Chicken instead? Thanks! My boyfriend got a large order of their #7 Sukiyaki and it seemed like he fully enjoyed it judging by the lack of talking and more slurping haha. I must admit I was the same too! The warm phở made it hard for me to juggle eating and chatting with my friends. Quick note: Just like our first visit, the stock had great flavor and was at a ready-to-slurp temperature. But UNLIKE our first time they served a little more meat, which is a good plus because we felt disappointed and still hungry the last time. Recommendations: –Try their Thai Tea! –Don’t be afraid to ask for more of their side veggies and garnish! –Be bold and order something you don’t usually buy! You won’t regret it! –And stop by on a rainy day. :)

Visiting from Hawaii and I was super excited to see this place. I ordered the large phở and my daughter ordered the small. They were actually the same size when it came out. Flavor was ok and edible. I guess expecting authentic Phở here in Bakersfield, CA is comparable to expecting authentic Mexican food in Hawaii. It’s just ain’t happening. Other than the cleverly named menu items, this place is mediocre at best.

Where do I begin! This little gem is the best place I have ever had phở in my life! I ordered my soups to go had the #4 and the #6 large they could of fed at least 3 to 4 people. The egg rolls were just as yummy! The staff is very nice as well! Prices are perfect! We will be coming back for a sit down bowl of awesome goodness next time.

Had Sukiyaki. OMG! So good! Reminded me of a Burmese dish I used to have when I added the chili oil and fried onion available at all the tables. Veggies they used were fresh and crisp, adding a nice juxtaposition in texture to the noodles. The raw egg is mixed in and essentially cooked by the hot broth, making the phở slightly creamy. Just delicious. Bonus that it satisfied that Burmese craving that can’t be fulfilled unless I travel to LA or SF. Ordered the chicken phở to take home.
